Oh btw my girl friend and I scored a good deal for 5 nights in Morrorco flying Club but from Gatwick which is a trek in itself!

I'm going to take a look and see if I can find anything for October 2016 for a week by myself!

Just sitting here thinking that this time last year we were in Tenerife, oh well, not too long until our next holiday , another 75 days to go, 171 days until the one after that, and hopefully 252 days until the one after, not yet booked that one.
I know that we only go to Tenerife or Fuerteventura or Portugal, (missus will not go on any longer haul flights) but it is still a good break from work and it keeps me on target for 25 holidays on a ten year passport...
it is starting to become a struggle on the money side, but it is worth struggling for.

Dosh, I know how it feels when we have nothing booked up, it's like something is missing, like the excitement to look forward to, to take my mind off having another year in a low paid job (and I do mean low paid, not like some on the employment or pension forum who think £30,000 is low paid, I do not even earn half that)
Yep,same here. This time last year we were in playa blanca, lanzarote. Been for the last two years so thought we'd give it a miss this year.I'm missing it a lot more than I thought I would. The weather is glorious and I'd give anything right now to be back there:(
Oh well, only 14 weeks till we go Cyprus :T

Roll on 14 weeks trixie, it will go pretty quick i'm sure of that..
What I always try to plan, is having another holiday booked before I go on holiday, it helps with the post holiday blues a bit, even if it is only a cheap holiday, like I always do, it still fills that gap that gives me a missing feeling..
I love my cheap holidays, 7-10 days in the sun in another country 2 -3 times a year helps me get through my job.
Corduroy pillows are making headlines! Back home in London now after 27years wait! Duvet know it's Christmas, not original, it's a cover.

62 Days until Marrakech for my birthday - BA Club Sale plus 4 Seasons (5 nights)
81 Days until Miami & Cruise - only deposit for cruise paid, buying flights next weeks and paying off cruise and hotel next week too! - (17 nights)
208 Days until THE BIG ONE - the one I've been planning for almost 2 years! East Coast to West Coast USA - (40 nights)

Friends 40th, so depending on what she decides there will be another 4 nights somewhere AND I'm praying if all goes according to plan Christmas in South Africa!?!?! Here's wishing!

What do your plans/countdowns show for 2016?

I tend to book about 5-8 weeks before I go on holiday. How do other people get on with booking so far in advance if you can't go for whatever reason?

I've started to look at Japan & Taiwan now, ooooh this meno makes me so indecisive :(

Well I did think that to begin with Pete, I watched Ice Road Truckers  I'm still more keen on Napel than anywhere else though, & would it be preferable to be flung off a road on the Himalayas or go from some dreaded disease I ask myself? :( Then in the back of my mind there's lots of places like Spain, Malta, Croatia, Morocco ... that I'd like to visit but never have. Again I fear the pie & chips brigade, sorry but it had to be said :p Talk me round someone.
