The only significant trip I have planned at the moment is a week in Spain in early July, though I may try to get a weekend away somewhere in late May.

My annual big trip is usually 2 weeks in October but I really haven't started thinking about that yet. It will probably be a return to Thailand after going to Vietnam last year for a change.

Currently in Portugal up in the mountains 2hrs South East of Porto, with my OH. Stunningly beautiful warm days, chilly nights.

North Devon with mum for 5 days next month, then off camping at a Festival in July.

Nothing booked after that, but maybe couple of weeks in the Canaries in the autumn. Or Florida? Dunno.

Hubbie retires next month (I'm still working) so he has lots of kayaking trips planned, whilst I stay home with the cats.

Great thread! So far this year, we have been away for a week in Spain and a long weekend in Krak!w. In May, we are going to France, july is a week away in our camper, probably in Devon or Somerset.

August, only flights booked to Italy, no accomadation yet. We got these flights with airmiles, the France holiday is courtesy of the Sun, and the week we spent in Spain was staying with friends, so haven't spent as much as it first might appear.

We will probably book something for October,- a few days in Dublin.
We will also try to get away in the camper on any weekends where the weather is half decent!
  • Texas road trip in August, visiting Dallas-Fort Worth, Big Bend national park, San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, Houston and Galveston with other stops in between. Also staying at a Dude Ranch in the Hill Country which we are super-excited about.

Probably not the best time of year to visit somewhere like Texas, but when you are tied to school holidays, that's when you have to go!
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee."

Yes we're doing a road trip. It'll be our 5th in 6 years (2012 was Orlando). We love seeing so many different places on one holiday. I'm really looking forward to Yellowstone and Boulder. Some of the ofher trips on here are giving me ideas for our next holiday too.

Your NYC comment made me :rotfl: That was the coldest we had, the warmest was about -3. Even that felt far colder than it does here. Seeing Central Park in the snow was fantastic though, it was how I imagine Narnia looks.

I think I may have to add this to my possible future road trips list - it sounds great!

Masterpoo- I've arranged it all myself, it's much easier and cheaper. Flying business class to Bangkok and spending a night there before flying to Phnom Penh. A couple of nights there then off to Sihanoukville for 3 nights, Kampot for 2, back to PP to meet friends for a few nights. Then Siem Reap for 3 before back to Bangkok for the weekend. I've got all hotels booked apart from the final weekend in Bangkok.
