We've got another note off interest so that's two of them, had a no show today and a couple viewed the house few hours later, I now know why people have set viewing times 😂. We have more viewings booked in for this week and I think we'll be going to our estate agent on Monday to talk to them about what we do next.
  • Another one here waiting for a buyer. Am so impatient!

Been on the market 5 weeks this Monday and had four viewings (would have been five had one person not had their offer accepted on another house) and two second viewings and another booked in for Saturday (with someone whose house isn't on the market yet - so not massively jumping up and down with excitement at him as a buyer!).

Feedback has been that the house and decor is fantastic but the garden is not right for a 3 year old, or simply too small or the house is not big enough.
The last couple who had the second viewing earlier this week, he really liked it but she wasn't so keen so it doesn't look like that's a goer.

Just exhausting having to keep doing the whole declutter and removal of washing/dog stuff/clutter and making all the surfaces shinyshiny!

    Fingers crossed for us all....

Just had feedback from yesterday's viewing, they liked it but the neighbour decided to come out and ask them questions as they were leaving which has put them off.

It feels like I'm banging my head against a brick wall.

That's awful, what a b****y cheek. We have another note off interest from people who came last night to view, the guy came to the door this morning to ask if he could view it again on Sunday which of course he can. Someone wanted to see it today but we have a lot on seemingly they weren't very happy but they're coming tomorrow to see it instead, I wish I knew why it's so popular.

We've already had a word.

Dropped the price today too, we've had 2 viewings in a month which tells me it's a bit overpriced.
  • Unless your neighbour is a bit odd or asked some overly nosey questions, that wouldn't put me off if I was viewing a house. If anything it can be quite reassuring to meet the neighbours I think.

Felt so deflated after doing our second viewing earlier in the week and it seemingly going nowhere (again) and were starting to feel like no one wants it, but then today we've suddenly got two viewings booked in and I'm all full of hope again!

    Talk about an emotional rollercoaster!

How is everyone getting on? Any progress?

It's been a week on the market for us now- we have had 5 viewers with one booked for tomorrow and another for Saturday. I asked for feedback from the 5 already and the EA said they can't get hold of any of them despite several attempts! They gave me the feedback from when they were walking round with them - like the garden, like the size, didn't like the parking situation, wanted a new kitchen.
I have told the EA that when they do manage to get hold of them to gauge their opinion in the price (as this is something we have a degree of flex on). However I'm guessing if non of them have even given feedback they are not interested in the house!

How many viewings should it take before I start to get worried? Ie if 20 people view it and no one is interested surely there has to be a problem?!

I read somewhere the average was 12 viewings.
