I just use a small amount of fabric conditioner for smell, no where near the dosage they 'recommend' and it works.1 -

I was thinking whether fabric conditioner may do the trick. At the mo I'm using up my 2 in 1 tropical Washing tablets. 20 washes for £2.50, but because I only use one tablet it works out at about 6.5p a wash.HOME

Had a great day today. Bought all dd3s birthday presents. Went a bit over the top for me but got some good bargains.
£13 top up shop, was down to 5 nappies.
£7 kids club showing at cineworld. Went to see two by two. Cheaper than vue £1.75 a ticket, £1.99 at vue.
After cineworld, as we were in Bradford, took kids to media museum, is a great free museum. Spent around four hours there, really enjoyed it - we go a lot.
On our way home stopped for a paddle in the fountains in the town centre, more free fun. Obs didn't pay for parking in Bradford, there's a eurocar parking which does 12 hours for £2.50. In the name of fitness and money saving we walked out of town for free parking.HOME

Thank you debtfreeoneday and catht had a lovely day.
So today, weather has turned, so decluttering. 50 kids books, all my 12-18 girls stuff to charity shop.
Why not sell it? I hear the purists cry. Well in an ideal world I'd donate more time to volunteering, or perhaps a monthly direct debit, however I donate everything to kids charities as my way of doing my bit.HOME

Stocked up my freezer with frozen veg £18.80.
Had a visit from the boys in blue. My eccentric neighbour reported us for criminal damage after chopping down the tree branches the other day.
The police were great really helpful and completely on our side very sympathetic to the situation, they even said it would be better if he gave the house, garden up as it is so overgrown, dilapidated.
In other news, finding living with a lodger quite tough at the mo. Think its probably just that I'm at home a lot with it being school hols but finding it harder to co ordinate meal times, use of washing machine etc. It's the little things like house always looks like Blackpool illuminations.HOME
