Well that's uni finished, did manage to get a distinction not that it really makes any difference ... but I got one,
Set myself a new challenge, now in hindsight I knew it would be a challenge but didn't realise it would be just as much a challenge as I thought, I have decided to climb 50 Munro''s by the time I am 50, I did my first one last Wednesday with my sister her husband and two of her kids ( they came up for a visit) now I knew it wouldn't be easy, but in my head I was thinking, well you've climbed Coulter fell which is over 800 m high so your only really climbing another 200m you can do that
OMFG it was very hard, we hit the worst weather you could imagine it took us 10 hours to do, at one point I thought my number was up, I went into shock, so lessons to be learned and 49 left to do
In other news we had a wee week away in the wobble box, kayaking and relaxing, then a visit from family and we're just about to go away in the wobble box again for 4 nights kayaking and relaxing some more
Oh and son has decided he is getting married, and because son doesn't work or have any money the bank of mum and dad have been asked to pay 1/3 Rd of the wedding which is estimated to be £20k. So this is going to affect the early retirement plans and I need to get back on top of things financially, now that I am finished uni that isn't a bad thing anyway to be fair, we have been spending far too much lately due to buying new kayaking stuff, caravan stuff and me not working due to studying, maybe a wedding focus will help me get back on track
I will be around more now that I am finished uni so now is a good time to get things back to the way they should be ... might even be time for a new diary0 -
