I placed a bet with a certain Miss Skinty Spice, I said that I wouldn't use Amazon ( this was before xmas) and that I would give her a bag of coffee if I made it to February and didn't use Amazon, either way Skinty was gonna win
I'm pleased to announce I still haven't used Amazon so Skinty not long to go till you win your coffee ... when I get to drop it off to you is another story but I reckon your gonna win
Excellent! I shall send you a bag via amazon in retaliation! :rotfl:Mortgage OP 2025 £6750/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Eb@y is a sore subject in our house Ed... we will get there ... one day lol
so what has been happening in El land, well we are down to £98 for the food budget, however we went from buying as we need to buying a weeks worth of food this week, we still have a couple of things to buy but have most of the food in to do us this week, Mr El has decided to go on a health kick again, if this lasts ( which I hope it does) then this month we will be over the food budget but hopefully next month we will be on budget as we wont have bought any rubbish and just bought health foods... we will see
Petrol money down to £75 hopefully that will last us the month
£21 spent on take aways, Mr el wanted to have his final blow out
£10 on alcohol,
went to the water sports shop in Glasgow that appeared to behaving a real sale not one of those kid on ones that shops have, got a pair of kayaking gloves for £4, various bags for £1, roof rack things for the kayaks and a paddle, so we blew this months budget on this stuff, but it was stuff we needed we just got it at half price
and ermmmm * whispers* we booked a holiday with plans on booking another one in April when the new deals come up.0 -
Is Mr El following a diet plan/general direction of nutrition (i.e. 5/2, high protein etc.), or is he just eating less !!!!!?0
-
so far his plan seems to involve, cutting out processed increasing fruit and veg with a plan on implementing a 5/2 regime at some point as well, just now he is trying to cut things like bread out, an have a smoothie per day with spinach, avocado, banana and kale0

Shhhh beanie it's a secret
The one we have booked is a wee 4 night break to Barcelona in September, I will have just finished uni and it will be good to get away doing it via ry@n@ir etc so as cheap as we can, although we went to Benidorm last year anyone that knows me will know it wasn't a holiday ( nightmare is a better description) so this will be our first break abroad together since I started my course and I think we really need one
Next holiday will be next year around about July/august time, we will be flying to verona then heading up to Lake Garda for a few nights and doing a bit of kayaking/ walking etc before hiring a car and heading to the Dolomites and some more walking before heading back to Lake Garda ( opposite end of the lake) and then back to Verona
Mr El has been looking at videos online and it looks amazing0 -
