I know Beanie ... I have to teach a full primary school ... so not just 1 lesson plan either ... panicking about it all to be honest
Well the envelopes have been made up for the month, 4 work envelopes, 1 alcohol envelope, 1take away envelope and 1 emergency use only envelope
The food budget was cut down to £250, not sure if that's realistic or not but we will see, we're already down to £222 left .. but we have 5kg of chicken a sausage Lorne and some eggs and milk so £28 well spent I think0 -
In their defence, we are adult learners and should keep checking the website ...
Yes, keep checking the website like it's still 1999...
Do they not have email notifications/RSS?in my ( and many if my class) defence ... I'm nearly finished and I still don't know how to navigate my way round, allegedly it's easy but many of us still find it a nightmare
Alleged by whom? By the people whose website it is?Oh well I've started now, did half an hour ... the annoying thing is I have done all this before previously in a past uni course, however I have to do it again ... sigh

They do have email notification but either they didn't send it or it got lost in amongst the other 3000 email notifications they send ( the amount of emails I receive is ridculous) alleged by those that can do it no problem ... the rest of us sit baffled
Aye de ja vu ... but will get there
Lovely to see you as always dear Z hope you are well ?
In other news I just received a pen set from one of the people I have a pension and ISA with, it's a lovely pen set must be worth £40-£50 ... I will use it in work with the hopes that someone won't steal it as it's a good set ( pens get acquired by other people on a frequent basis in my line of work)
It was given as a loyalty bonus type thing ... I do wonder though if my SIPP and ISA are losing so much money they wanted to thank me0 -
Suggests you're paying too much for your SIPP and ISA fees?0
-
Very possibly, I don't have much with them ... this was the bit that puzzled me... just over £10k between the SIPP and the ISA0

Yep, I moved to Charles Stanley when they restructured their charges a few years ago, but they were charging to close accounts, so just left things as is till I need them0 -
I have 7 beds and a herb wheel in my polytunnel, since starting studying I have neglected the lot, but this year I finish, I know I have a job to find and more learning to do ( u don't just qualify and start work you have to continually train/study) but I have decided to start back with my garden, it calms me down and let's me focus on the simple things, the pleasure I get from pottering about is immeasurable. However we have 3 years of a mess to clean up, and 3 years of Mr El taking over every spare bit of land for his wood pile ( the guy is obsessed) so today I decided to clear two beds and put down the black linning to prevent weeds growing, I won't be growing in my 7 beds this year as I don't want to add too much stress on myself ... but if I can grow on 3 or 4 I will be happy
I've missed my garden, the simple act of doing outdoor stuff just helps my shoulders relax down from my ears and my head to stop going at 100 miles a second.0 -
I placed a bet with a certain Miss Skinty Spice, I said that I wouldn't use Amazon ( this was before xmas) and that I would give her a bag of coffee if I made it to February and didn't use Amazon, either way Skinty was gonna win
I'm pleased to announce I still haven't used Amazon so Skinty not long to go till you win your coffee ... when I get to drop it off to you is another story but I reckon your gonna win0 -
