Well I think we will finally have a strong voice in WM ... something even if every single seat was Labour we would never have had ... I think FFA will happen and I think we will all suffer under the Tories ... Why on earth the rest of the UK chose Tory is beyond me but they did.
If the rest of the UK choose to leave the EU and Scotland wanted to stay then I think another independence referendum will be on the cards ... although tbh we would also need to choose SNP in HR next year for that to happen.
to round it up, we are going to suffer under Tory leadership but thankfully we have the SNP fighting their hardest for us... Labour need to learn their lessons but so far Labour are just saying SNP bad SNP bad indy ref indy ref SNP bad SNP bad ... they really dont get exactly what they have done and continue to do to their potential support0 -

It does look like we have a Maggie Simpson group of countries lol
Its going to be an interesting time I truly hope people stay and more become engaged in their countries future ( which ever country people live in )
Hopefully elsewhere some Common Weal groups will start up which will be great for communities
Money wise .... Well we've been partying so spending money ... That's us partied out now ( were getting old ... Week long parties would kill us now lol ) so its back to behaving again and saving moneybills to pay and mortgages to destroy

Advanced warning ... rant alert
right ... the Ebay issues are still ongoing, I now have a debt collection agency to deal with who are threatening to take me to court, Just had a letter from the council tax asking me for £145 instantly as I havnt paid ... Yes I have paid ... I paid more than was due, so I need to deal with that as well ...
And the creme de la creme, the washing machine has died on me, yes it had stopped spinning the other day and Mr El was gonna have a wee look at it for me... but it is dead... dodo dead ...
so
we need to go buy a washing machine, battle with Ebay ( who are suddenly not answering any emails and are worse than useless on the phone) and battle with the debt collection agency and battle with the council tax people as well ...
But hey Thursday night/Friday morning was great0 -
I'm sorry El, it never rains but it pours, eh?
A0 offer a little bit of cashback through TCB and I found them to very good (Saturday delivery etc.) In fact, the experience of buying something from them felt so easy, we even kept the dented oven0 -
Just wanted to nip in and say hello - I have just read your diary to date (admittedly only this chapter!) you are doing great! I have to admit I am more than slightly jealous about your election results - I am a Scottish exile now living in Northern England and feel extremely anxious about the result! I am also nurse so fear for our already damaged health service! - so much so that my DD3 caught me out looking for nursing jobs in Scotland!!!!
Will be following your 4 (and a bit) year plan with interest - good luck with your nursing - many nurses moan about it being hard (it is!) and underpaid (also true in my opinion!) But many of us do it because we love it!!! (and I'm not very good at anything else!!)0 -
Oh El!!!! Thats a lot of stuff to come along at once
Hope you've got the energy to get it all sorted, you and Mr El.

Hey everyone,
I wrote a message the other day on my hudl but it didnt seem to get here
well Mr El and I had a chat and decided we couldnt afford a new washing machine just now ( have a dental bill waiting to happen ) so we landed up looking on Gamtree and finding a washing machine that was one down from the one we had but several years newer and for the cheaper price of £95 so we bought that and got it home, so far it seems to be working ok, if we can get a few years out of it I will be happy
Managed to deal with the council tax, due to me becoming a student they had changed our account number ( without telling us) and we had been paying into the old one, now I was a student before and they managed not to change our account ... but this time must've chose to.
No luck with the bay of E yet, I have sent several emails non of which they have responded to, I also sent the debt collection company an email which they also didnt respond to, so that is ongoing
Managed to successfully cancel the mortgage payment protection insurance which will save us £30 a month and we wont pay interest on it either, we have not yet quite managed to get our mortgage to the place where we are offset, but that is ok cause we are getting closer to it every month and should be offset by the end of the year still... in the mean time £30 a month can be put to better use
Sorry I havnt been on much and very sorry also that I havnt been catching up with everyone else's diaries I am working crazy hours as I'm sure Judi 24 ( Hi by the way) will remember .... doing my 37.5 hours on placement then a further 24 hours paid ( we need the money) and also trying to balance looking after the ill aunty and the inlaw's ( I think when I am qualified I will probably have to work part time due to looking after them) ... I am finding I dont even have time for the CW which I love and as for exercise and eating right ... well what is that again ? I'm fed up of eating rubbish and scunnered with not getting into my garden ( lucky if I have had two hours in it this year so far )
I know that it is a process I have to go through and I fully get that it will change in three years ... but it's gonna be a long slog for three years without a holiday so much work and so little time ... ( just having a wee moan I think)
So sorry I am not about as much as I should and would like to be an very very sorry I am not catching up with everyone, I hope your all doing great xxx0
