I sent my letter to them stating the so called fine would not be paid and stated my reasons and I also asked them to provide all documentation in relation to the subsequent addition of the red lines including companies involved, dates and related correspondence between themselves and land owners. Awaiting a reply.

I have not acknowlegded the invoice yet. Considering ignoring all together.

Had a reply stating they do not uphold my appeal and gave me a week to pay the £100.00 charge or face court proceedings. They have not provided any information regarding correspondence between themselves and land owners in relation to the markings being placed but have said I can pay £10 for photographic evidence!
I,ll try to get a copy of their reply on here as soon as I can. I now have to appeal to IAS. Has anybody else appealed to them regarding this?
I need dated photographic evidence that there were no markings showing this area as being restricted as I didn't photograph the ground. jalice2309, you stated you could provide this if anybody needed it but I don't know how to PM you! (I'm not very computer literate).

How is anyone else getting on?

Has anyone had any luck from Eddisons the land management company?

I've emailed 3 times now and sent a letter, but no response.

I have ignored and now got a chaser email from ZZPS who have approved BPA logo on their letter. It clearly states Eddison's in brackets at the location, so I have emailed eddisons again.

Interesting that it has a BPA logo on considering they are no longer part of that body.

I finally got pushed from person to person within Eddisons, so just kept badgering. Received a very short email which basically said, we are doing nothing, go and sort it out between you and VCS.

Had a quick further look at your thread and just checking whether you have done some local authority searches regarding planning consent for signage.
Try to get an e-mail from the council planners confirming or otherwise the situation.

As a matter of interest it appears to cost £50 to get that information on a planning history for a commercial site FAQ.

Can't say I'm wanting to pay that....

Just emailed to see if they can advise on the correct course of action.

You can do searches online for free. Just type in the postcode in the planning searches section of the council website.
If you can't find any permission just do a FOI request.

Found it. Well I found the search site. Nothing relating to any planning permission for erection of signs. The plot thickens.
