They might have discontinued it, but there were a couple of varieties of pastes they did that were labeled Quick Curry (Hot) and I think Quick Curry Medium or Mild, but I'm not sure I'd have noticed those ones! It was on the labels of the sauce jars.
There tends to be no fanfare when stuf was discontinued. I seem to remember some company, probably Knorr used to sell cubes of seasoning to make Palao Rice, but can't track it down anywhere.
Keep an eye out next time you're in Pakistan? http://www.tbcglobal.com/uplknorrpk/product/pulao-cubes/
Might be able to find it in the 'ethnic' aisle of a supermarket/ Asian grocers?0 -

I love Cricket, I love India, and I love curries. In 2006 I spent a month traveling around the Country watching the England Test series. I had curry every day, sometimes twice.......and not a single loose bowel movement!0

All the Indian IT guys who I worked with and who came over were bemused by all this talk of "going out for a curry".
Curry to them was the verbal equivalent of "gravy" to us.
You wouldn't say : "I'm off out for a gravy tonight"0 -

Do you just dislike Indian curry flavours?
Have you tried Chinese or Thai curries?
Or Mexican food?;)
In truth I don't like spicy food full stop.
But the smell of curries I particularly dislike.PasturesNew wrote: »I'd chased up one of the men who hadn't quoted. He's just phoned back.
I've said "yes" to his price as it's urgent and you do get caught on the hop a bit when you don't feel able to sit back and compare/think about it.

PasturesNew I'm so glad you're at least going to manage to have it fixed (provided the chap turns up, up course.) It's such a worry when stuff needs fixing and you can't get anyone to come and fix it
Anyway....We're having "curry" tonight, made from chicken breasts and a jar of Patak's Dopiaza, and it's all you lot's fault.
Not reallyI've got a cold and can't be doing with proper cooking atm. And when people started talking about jars of sauce, I suddenly remembered there was one in the cupboard.

Kiwi isn't that uncommon. And depending on exactly which kiwi protein is the problem, your friend may be allergic to latex too.
I have a sneaking suspicion that kiwis and strawberries are often related in allergy-groups.whichever tree it is I am allergic to (Hazel?) has started up already this year
Ah, that might explain itchy nose suddenly. Hadn't even thought about that!0
