I've had Belgian sausage for breakfast this morning. Very nice it was too.

For a moment there I thought you and Wheezy had done a Generali....
    I think....

    Yes, thank you!

    Mussels are yuck.
My favourite was a 'mitraillette'; a piece of french stick, filled with sliced sausage/meatball, frites and copious amounts of sauce (mayo, andalouse, americaine, samurai...)

    NOM! NOM!

And the beer has hops in, so that's one of your five a day.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I'm drafting my book on: Tax Return Final Avoidance Techniques.

I have got the file/figures in front of me.... just not got to the "log on" bit.

I now have a re-organised kitchen, with a few things moved around.
    Kitchen floor's a bit cleaner.
Sink splash back's a bit cleaner.
I've watched a set of neighbours move out.
    I've researched my GGG-grandmother's sister's entire family/downline across 80 years.
I've wasted some time too ... watching some telly.
And, finally, the SC's hosting a chicken curry mix-a-thon. That's chicken I bought yesterday + whatever I randomly think of to go in there too.

Now ... what else can I do .....
I'm sorry to have to say it - but you are still an amateur in those stakes...
I, however, am now a reformed character. My return was in last week. The last of my clients' returns was filed online today. Not sure what I'll do with myself for the rest of the weekend though.

I don't really watch TV so have never seen either of those and don't intend to start now!
Now if the BBC had decided to screen the Australian Open tennis that would have been a different matter. How many millions must they spend on overpaid pundits for football instead?

Bit shocked today - 2 deaths yesterday that I learned of today.

One of my oldest Internet friends, Ray Colliton, who ran the Co-Cure project that I helped moderate for a few years. He was only 68. A fellow ME patient. Pneumonia.

And our neighbour in caravan field. His widow asked her son in law to phone all the caravan people as we're getting to the time of year when everyone would be phoning up to arrange plumber to sort out heating systems etc. We saw him at Christmas when we were there, and he seemed OK then. Lung Cancer.

    Feeling sad.
