I see Sue's situation slightly differently. If she still likes ex and would like to see him again, i would text him, tell him to call and when, and say that you do not want a relationship by text, but would be up for occasional catch up for a meal etc and that this is absolutely not an invitation to sex or anything else.shes in the driver's seat and able to lay down the ground rules. If not,I'd still make contact, but to say that there is no interest and be totally unequivocal about that.

Thank you. I was thinking something along those lines but couldn't have put it anything like as well as you did.

Aldi do really cheap packs of pains au chocolat, something like £1.20 for 8, individually wrapped so they don't have to all be eaten at once (though I sense that would not be hard to do). In the microwave for 15 secs to melt the choc and they are divine.

Hmm. Must look into that. Thanks. :)

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I'm drafting my book on: Tax Return Final Avoidance Techniques.

I have got the file/figures in front of me.... just not got to the "log on" bit.

I now have a re-organised kitchen, with a few things moved around.
    Kitchen floor's a bit cleaner.
Sink splash back's a bit cleaner.
I've watched a set of neighbours move out.
    I've researched my GGG-grandmother's sister's entire family/downline across 80 years.
I've wasted some time too ... watching some telly.
And, finally, the SC's hosting a chicken curry mix-a-thon. That's chicken I bought yesterday + whatever I randomly think of to go in there too.

Now ... what else can I do .....

There's no rush. You can ruin all day tomorrow as well.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

You could find out that you are due a repayment!

After all my delay in waiting for key information, it turns out I had overpaid tax on account from last year and was due a refund.

Double gain as OH thought I would have a tax bill to pay and transferred some money over to my account. So now I have his money plus a refund that hmrc are promising me. :T

Have arrived back and read back a couple of pages. All appears well with most NP and it is lovely to see Wheezy and Lydia I was sorry to read of yorkie's and maggie's concerns and losses. Love the snails response to the chocolate request.

I got home last night and brought no gifts at all. I had a great few weeks away and in lieu of present buying made a donation to a cat welfare charity. I also arranged to trap, neuter and house in a shelter a colony of feral cats. We caught 11. I had fed and wormed them, and did not wish them to be neglected when we returned home and there were a couple that need veterinery attention.

Sisters and I did not kill each other, but it came close the first night. Weather pleasant throughout the villa was cold in the evening as they are not designed with the couple of cool months in mind.

OH came out to see me for a long weekend then flew to quebec He gets back Monday morning.have gained a few pounds but have walked a lot. My sister-in-law bought me a fitbit for xmas and it has been good to see what I could do, and to increase it. As a gadget I like it. My rehab, continues and my hand and arm are now more "able" than "disabled".

I have returned home to a provisional licence and a rquiremnt to complete the assessment by 19th May. Good news except the assessment body cannot schedule me in, in that timescale.

Will tackle this bit of madness on Monday.

If I have missed other NP news please fill me in.

Hi Spirit. Hope the time away was good.

What's been going on here? Maggie is having 0.001% of her arm amputated, Wheezy ate some chips and Nikkster got busy with some sausage action. Viva went to work. PN and I both had storms. Again. HAMISH drank some alcohol but is okay now. michaels might buy a house and has a tax bill. LJ got a job.

Sorry if I missed anything big.

I'm very glad not to be single.

I would be feeling the same if my life had turned out the way I was expecting it to.

You can buy a 3 bed fibro in Broken Hill for under $50,000. Would that enable you to retire?

Talking of, I assume, Oz hills, OH is at this moment somewhere in the vicinity of Ayers Rock.

If I was going to Oz for 6 days, the very last thing I would want to do after a 24 hour flight is get on another plane for 3 hours!
