I should point out to people that my level of nuking skillz are high .... so for my brekkie, don't envisage some dried up pile of unappetising stuff.... it's all tasty and moist and cooked properly.

I've got photos, unfortunately my photo taking of steaming hot food on a plate that I am dying to eat isn't great, so it's not stylized, it's by the sunny window/bright light and on a non-white plate .... but here's one snap of this morning's lot:
    http://tinypic.com/r/15x1thy/9

It's not stylized, it's how I like to pile it up: Toast, cover with beans, plonk the egg in the middle, sausages on one side, squirt with sauce.

    Nothing to apologise about there!
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Still on the lottery, I also had the same numbers for 21 years. The trick now that I don't do it is to never watch the results show or look on line or anything, so I won't know if they come up.

My Dad did the football pools for years and ended up with a decent win. He reckoned that he won pretty much what he spent down the years and stopped at that point.

Fast forward about 25 years and I had a modest lotto win. I similarly calculated it was about what I'd spent on the lottery. I didn't stop playing entirely but used to buy a ticket when I was having a bad week at work only (that was quite often when I worked in investment banking).

I hadn't played for ten years (last bought a ticket when I was sixteen) but they were doing it at work so I joined in for bit of fun. Wouldn't make a habit of it. A couple of quid for a bit of entertainment seems fair.

Breakfast was sausages on one of those part baked roll things, subsequently baked, with lashings of ketchup. Lovely.

The lottery started on my birthday, and a friend bought me a ticket with 'meaning' for each number. I kept buying at weekends occasionally, using those numbers, until it went up to £2 per ticket. Then I stopped. I hadn't won anything for probably years and it wasn't worth the investment for me, particularly once the chances of winning anything (except a free lucky dip with 2 numbers) went down as they added 10 more numbers.

I did splash out yesterday on a lucky dip and got 2 numbers so another free go - but won't restart.

That breakfast / brunch looked really good, PN. It's so easy to overdo scrambled eggs in the microwave.

More than this woman can ever enjoy:
    http://www.kentonline.co.uk/sevenoaks/news/no-arrests-following-christmas-eve-48420/

It never made much press coverage, which surprised me. I was watching the news from the date it occurred.

Back to the lottery new numbers, I wonder how many winning lines since then have consisted only of the old numbers.

It did make the news, I saw it on Twitter and in "The Times".

Just to put your mind at ease, of the 3 local costas I frequent, 2 are upstairs in other stores.

What is the chance of a car going in to a different costa at a time I am sitting in it, compared to the chances of winning the lottery.

4 out of the 27 draws since the change have had old numbers only.

People treat it like a magic cupboard. You wouldn't put a fried egg or piece of bacon on the hob, walk away and come back 10 minutes later to a perfectly cooked item .... yet people seem to expect that's how a nuker works. You still have to watch what's going on, stir/adjust/turn as appropriate.

You should have your own TV show :p

LOL. My food tastes/style of cooking aren't what "modern people" want. Serves one, only one, mostly vegetarian, no "posh/new foods" or buzz words, a peanuts budget, won't cook, want to just eat in under 15 minutes, want to keep things flexible, no getting fancy and as few ingredients as possible. Mostly cooking in a jug, serving on a plastic plate, minimal washing up/effort.

    Healthy? Who cares.
    Can I use gluten free ...? I don't know/care, I've just done what I know. Your problem.
Would that also work in my XYZ gadget? No idea, don't care. You bought XYZ, I've never seen one, you work it out.
    :)

    Sounds refreshing :D
