No idea. To be honest, any form of change would petrify me as any change has the potential to go horribly wrong and I like things to stay the same, rather than risk the chance of things going horribly wrong.

Being without broadband would also make me petrified.

Actually the good thing about changing to Virgin media is that you can keep all your existing stuff working alongside it until you are happy the virgin stuff is working properly before cancelling your BT.

For you in particular, virgin TV would give you proper TV channels without needing to touch the aerial sockets.

If you go here and enter your postcode half way down on the left under "what services can I get?" you can see if Virgin is in your area.

Not going to catch up with today yet, I'm on date night, but I wanted to tell Gen that I was so uplifted by his happiness in our early hours that it has bolstered me several times today. Didn't want to forget.

    High five :)

And I was going to say I agree with what Gen said about Naproxen....

Whoever wants a NowTV box let me know by email and we can sort out a contribution to Daisy in return. I think I have about 8.

    Did it have hairs?
The only thing I can remember about having pork, when I was growing up, is that the (gross) skin had a few random hairs on it.

It's not a pleasant looking lump of dead animal is it ....

This was haif free but even if it wasn't, several hours in the oven would singe them off.

As much as that sounds like a good deal .... I've no idea what it is to be honest.

    :)

    Do I want one?

I'm not as much in the know as some of the others, but as far as I can understand what the others are saying, you don't want one unless you have decent broadband to use it with. :(
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
    :)

They're white boxes, aren't they? So if PN doesn't have an hdmi port on her tv, she could connect to the AV input if she spends £5 on a connector, or at least that's what it says here.

Yep - annoyingly when the boxes first came out they let you request the a/v cables for free but now it is a fiver.

If LydiaJ is looking in, Martin wants views on bereavement benefits:
