Gate's banging like a good 'un .....
It's perpetually windy here!
I walked the dog late tonight and probably woke the house up when the wind slammed the door shut behind us before I could slow it down.
Shops had empty shelves tonight. Kingston's the shopping target tomorrow, but no way I'm parking there. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
I've got to hit the ground running tomorrow morning, meat to pick up from the butchers, take parents into town to get last minute bits, wrap lots of pressies, make more mince pies (60 done tonight) and attempt to make my own stuffing before going out to a gig tomorrow night.
Only problem is that I have developed an abscess which is making every movement agonising and I feel like !!!!!.
No nails to paint here, mine will be their normal bitten to the quick pale affair they usually are.
Since Saturday, we have had a free synthetic ice rink in our town centre, you wouldn't believe the amount of people who have complained about it or been snotty about it because it is synthetic rather than real ice...it's blooming free to use for all ages!
Why do people do that?
It has been packed every day since Saturday however, so plenty have enjoyed it...and unlike the one at Colchester (those complaining were moaning Colchester got a real ice rink), it didn't melt and could continue being used.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

DD thought that I had painted a few of my toenails a dark colour when she saw them a while back.
I had to explain they were runners nails, and would basically fall off! She was decidedly unimpressed.0 -

I'm guessing you are not aiming for a career in the Cornish Tourist board PN !

I thought your mrs was a pop star or something? Has she just covered danger zone? In any case the pub is free to serve whoever it wants to - if it was me I just wouldn't go back, ever.0
