M'aidez m'aidez.
This morning our cleaner kindly helped me to do up the small mother of pearl buttons on my blouse. I was stuck as I had done up too many buttons to take the blouse off and not enough to be decent.
DD is asleep, OH is on a plane on his way home.
I should have thought ahead, as I now can't undo the buttons to get ready for bed. Looks like a late night here.0 -
I'm quite good at undoing blouse buttons.0

Bizarrely I feel trapped in it.
Fortunately there is a Belgianhero coming to my rescue, hope he brings Westie0 -
I simply can't drive all day. never had that ability. I'd be sure to end up with highway hypnosis like those horrifying public safety ads from times gone by.

My bladder would never let me drive all day, even in my healthy and able to drive anywhere days. It was always a running joke between me and ex husband that the A12 was the trigger for my bladder to start complaining, I would always carry on until the M25 junction and then dash into the garage there for a tinkle.
It doesn't matter how many times I go to the loo, or how little fluid I drink before leaving, you can guarantee that I will be desperate within an hour of leaving home, coming home is a different matter for some reason, I can go a couple of hours before having to stop even if I have had a drink just before leaving. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

I get very concerned about things like this. Freedom of speech is, or should be, an absolute right not one that is only available to people we agree with.
I have no strong feelings about freedom of hair.
Surely if a man wearing a wig has the right to say the most ludicrous stuff he can come up with just to get attention then everyone else has the right to start or sign a petition like the one referred to.
Freedom of speech applies to everyone not just tools who want to say something offensive.0 -
I think I have just about recovered from the aftermath of the flight to Oz. The flight itself wasn't too bad, the twins slept for about 75% of it and the rest of the time they were well behaved. It was made easier by the fact that all the people around us fled to other seats in horror so we had the front row to ourselves. the flight was a breeze compared to dealing with the jet lag, but we see, to have finally got them on to Oz time now, praise the Lord.0
