1000 clubcard points = at least £10 in value and more likely double upped to £20 or exchanged for 2400 Avios (supposedly valued at £24 but more like £60 with what we use them for).

    Sorry guys.

I wonder. I bought petrol today, can I claim for a receipt dated before I joined up?

Hmm - I think when I cash in my amex points for nectar instead we should get together using the the friends and family airmiles points share thang as you could pay me twice the value of nectar points and still be 3x better off....

Nectar points to airmiles??? How is that possible.

The problem with household groups on Avios is any spend is taken from each account in proportion to their share of the household pool, that gives some odd results in terms of individual accounts.

No, they were Amex points and I convert them to Nectar just because I don't get value from them as airmiles or anything else but they could have become BA or whatever other frequent flyer miles.

Today I did something I have never done before...ordered our Christmas meat from a local butcher!

It has always been a frozen turkey from the supermarket for Christmas day but this year, I decided to support our local businesses (most of my Christmas present shopping has also been done locally) and get it from there. I think the most surprising thing was that it has worked out little difference in price to Morrisons but of course, it will be of a better quality, prepared for us and very very fresh.

Mind you, the same order from the rather famous, TV star farm less than 10 miles away would have cost about 4 times as much....
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

No Xmas tree, seems a waste with only me.

Xmas dinner is usually got at 2pm on Xmas eve at M&S.

Possibly no kitchen at Xmas as the guy has laryngitis and has spent the last two days in bed. Sounded terrible yesterday, poor man.

Still an insomniac in Stevenage. Never have a good night's sleep here, but it's literally next door to work. Grrr.

I can never find a use for nectar points. DS2 collects and converts to pizza express. Whereas avios can be used for flights, hotels, car rental...

You can open a avios account and then send your avios to someone but they charge for the privilege. £175 to transfer the max 27,000 allowed.

I'm happy to trade nectar points for clubcard points, if there is a way to do it.
