No Xmas tree, seems a waste with only me.

Xmas dinner is usually got at 2pm on Xmas eve at M&S.

Possibly no kitchen at Xmas as the guy has laryngitis and has spent the last two days in bed. Sounded terrible yesterday, poor man.

Still an insomniac in Stevenage. Never have a good night's sleep here, but it's literally next door to work. Grrr.

I seem to remember that you also treat yourself to a bottle of Amarone. A beautiful wine which I would think could also be a cure for your current insomnia.

Crikey, you have a good memory.

CK, contact them and ask to defer it, they aren't unhelpful usually.

If you have a holiday booked they should allow you to defer. A staycation is just as good as a vacation.

Has he actually expressed any intention of visiting the UK?

    Hi, thanks.:)

I've seen that some of my neighbours have gone really OTT with their decorations.:rotfl:I would have liked that as a kid.

I've got a wreath on the door, tree in the lounge and a smaller one in the conservatory.

Not going OTT this year, mainly as we're both really tired at the moment.

    I may try it.

We were planning to go away 29th to 31st to discuss various things with various people, however as it's the weekend we should be able to get away with it....Flights aren't booked yet.

I'm happy to do the service, just those two weeks aren't ideal.

Thanks Bugs too, I have read your response, just didn't quote it :)

He might do if he was planning to discuss the wind farm that planned for near his golf course in Scotland? (If I remember correctly...)

Regardless, I think it's a pretty good response to his comments.

Edit: just occurred to me.... you'd think someone called Trump would be into wind power :D

Edit 2: actually, is 'Trump' even a 'thing' outside my family?!

Thanks for the reminder Spirit! I tried to sign it yesterday when I first heard about it, but it was "awaiting modertation"! First time I've ever seen that on one of the Parliament petitions!
