Who said that?! (I'll get me coat ... )
Surely it is windproof - the wind doesn't go through it, and it turned you into a sail ;-)
I'm down in Inner Herts at the moment as, sadly, my Dad had another bleed / stroke 10 days ago and died in hospital last Thursday. It was very peaceful (he never regained consciousness) and I think we had time to prepare for the inevitable. My brother and I both managed to travel down on the day of the second stroke, and I'm still here with Mum.
We are at the funeral director's and the registrar tomorrow, then I go back home on Wednesday for a week or so. Work have been great about the time off.
At the moment it isn't real - it's as if he's just away on a school trip or similar - so the emotion hasn't really sunk in yet. Doubtless that will come at some point. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

I'm very sorry. I found that the funeral brought that kind of closure. You look forward to that (in a directional rather than anticipating way) and then it goes flat.
My work were terrible with me. I went in between my mum dying and the funeral as it was my birthday and I couldn't handle the trip to Paris H has bought me but didn't want to be alone. They were gracious enough to give me the compassionate leave for the funeral but took the two days after as holiday without speaking to me. Found it out when I resigned and a load of holiday pay was missing.
Still hate them for that. Totally spineless. I may or may not have wiped a load of SQL queries from the database when I left.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

So sorry to hear your news Yorkie xxxWe made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Thinking of you Yorkie. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
