Thanks everyone but especially to Spirit. It means a lot after all you've been through this year.

I've also been told that they want to start lengthening the gap between appointments which is 2x good news.

    Doubly good news!

Hello GDB, i was thinking of you today and wondering if it was yet the time of year when you build the outdoor dining room from greenery? Apologies I cannot remember the festival name, but i always like your account of dogged and determined compliance to make the occassion right for Mrs GDB.

    i don't recall this years account.Have I missed it?

Succoth was early this year, as The Jewish calendar works on the lunar cycle. This means it gets out of step with the standard calendar, but leap months are inserted from time to time So as to keep things more or less in line.

I did a complete reconstruction this year, taking the old one to bits and reusing the materials. It's now smaller and more manageable, which works well for us now some of the children have left home. As with many building projects, it was right up against the deadline, but it was ready just in time.

I'll see if I can find any photos. And thanks for asking.

michaels, this might help if it's tension. Take a rolled up towel ( determine the size yourself based on how little flexibility you feel you have), lie it on the floor and lie on it so that it runs along your spine from base of neck and allow your shoulders to ease down towards the floor. I've found it helpful in the past.

We all own the dogs. No one demanded.

I need to collect the poo. H in London, one invalid and one little one.

Woman up ;-) - there is only me :-(. I didn't get my grass cut either - was going to do it last weekend but with the kitchen been out of order and the lawn mower behind the kitchen stuff in the garage....aaargh. And it's been raining a lot. And I have 5 dogs. Great.

I think that depends on the cat's diet (As I'm sure it does with dogs too.). Plus ours doesn't use the litter tray unless he's really desperate, but goes under the hedge out the back instead, and then buries his poo :)
