Happy birthday to Silvercar.

It is an utterly glorious morning. I would guess about 25C and not a cloud in the sky. Lovely.0 -

Just realised I said "DD" in my post about her coat "making her look fat"; I meant my DGD!

It struck me too as I had not realised Ivy had littlies, and thought it was another example of not being quite "with it".
Hope tonight's dinner was good and that your official celebration goes just as well.
Noted that GF is joining you. It is a family milestone when you offspring's relationships become signiificant to be includedin private family occassions.
We treated dd's bf to share our holiday in sicily last month as we felt means a lot to her and she would have missed him. He will be with us for Christmas.0 -

It involved much discussion. We decided that because DS2 was coming to London to spend the weekend with his GF then we would need to give him the option to include her. Otherwise we felt it looked a bit rude that we were dragging him away from a weekend on which he was meant to be visiting her. If he had been coming away from university to spend the weekend at home, or if it was the holidays and he was home anyway, we probably wouldn't have included her.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. There's not a lot happening chez ivyleaf.
Oh, we did get our first Christmas card of the year on Monday! I keep telling myself I must start writing mine (though send fewer every year) but haven't got around to it.0 -

Every time someone mentions Xmas in November an elf drowns a baby reindeer.
The appointment is 9:30pm tomorrow your time. I hate this. On a more positive note I'm picking up the keys tomorrow to New House. It's huge, Aussie houses are ridiculous.0
