Bit like us with a covering of snow on Saturday morning and -6 on Saturday night...winter doesn't start till 1st December officially (although to be fair we are still looking at one of the warmest November's on record)

According to Google, it's going to be too warm for snow where I am.

Hope it's true, as I'm off from Friday to Tuesday, OH is on earlies and I really want to lie in over the weekend, not be up at 5am driving her car to the bottom of the road (I'll happily drive in snow, just hate driving down there, as it's really steep.)

We had a table tennis table when I was a kid. I used to play from March to October most days. I loved it.

Hope the breast is okay Sue.

Got my appointment with the haematologist on Thursday so I have the usual nerves. I'm sure it'll be okay but it plays on my mind.

I did some interesting research on obesity today. The US soda manufacturers have spent over $100,000,000 on advertising and lobbying to try to reverse anti-soft drink legislation and taxation since 2009! That's what we economists call, "loads".

All the best to you and Sue. I'd say something about the nerves, except that I can't think of anything to say that would make the slightest difference.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Thinking of you Sue - hopefully they can arrange a fast-track scan x

DD was quite upset this week when she had to wear her warm coat to school, as opposed to her bodywarmer. Her reason?

    "It'll make me look fat!!!!"

She's not even eight until next month :(

P.s. And couldn't look fat if she tried.

It's a huge el Nino year so it's going to be scorchio over here this summer. We've had a few wet ones too so there's plenty of fuel for bush fires.

WA is already suffering pretty badly with the fires:

VIC is also starting to see some bushfire action.

Thankfully I'm moving to a part of Sydney that doesn't get bushfires. The Generalissimos school is in a bushfire district however.

Thanks guys, not overly concerned at the moment but it is always wise to get these things checked over especially with our family history.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

The 'all the best' bit is all I need to make me feel a bit better.

This is the bit that they don't tell you about cancer: the nights that you wake up at 3am wondering if it's come back, the nagging doubts each time you have a check-up, the worries you have each time you get sick. I hate it.

I'm very pleased to hear it. I hope the armpit thing is fine and just another abscess or cyst or something benign.
