he is a grade A pancake maker.

Umm, is that an insult? How/why? Or am I just a generation too old to understand?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

According to google search results I should be asking whether that is a standard pancake make or a Jamaican Pancake Maker...luckily when I try and click through to find out what either of those are I am protected by parental controls :rotfl:
    I think....

Head slap! Hadn't even thought of that, wouldn't put it past him to do that.

Who will tell him how crass his gift giving is? If no one tells him, how will he learn? Unike Doozergirl he is never going to have a light bulb moment and develop emotional intelligence.

Self preservation is good reason to minimise the effects of a miserable experience so so totally get Josh's response, it does let this silly man off the hook.

Without harrassement is it possible to use friends/family/social media to get the message across?

Some people never learn, they always know best. :(

In my mind that's not what I meant at all! You toss pancakes... that's my train of thought. It would appear said train has been well and truly derailed. Oops! Sorry...
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

That's what I assumed you meant. I'm now kinda curious about what else it could mean but am I curious enough to risk whatever horrors Google holds...?

Josh has requested that I not get involved, he doesn't want us arguing/creating bad feeling over him. One thing I would also never do is advertise private family matters on social media, he did that when we split on a site I am involved with and it caused no end of trouble.

Saying that, Josh has washed his hands of him now just as James did a few years ago.

Emotional intelligence? Hmm, not sure he will ever be capable, he also doesn't learn...in his world, this is perfectly reasonable and trying to tell him otherwise is pointless. In the old days it would lead to lots of shouting, swearing and throwing of items as he was never ever wrong.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
