Why do the BBC weathermen/women always remind us that whenever we have a warm-ish day, it's "warmer here than in Rome, Istanbul, Athens or Madrid"?
Not only that, why do weather FORECASTERS begin by telling us what the weather was like?!?! I know what it was like, I was there. I experienced it! Tell me what it will be like!
Just collect sausage recipes then :)
    Sausages are awesome.

Toad in the hole, sausage casseroles, sausage/egg/chips .... sausage rolls even. What's not to like?

Bangers and mash, with and without beans. mmmmmm

One of my favourite meals had sausages in it. Sausages/onions fried, mixed with cooked rice and a tin+water of condensed tomato soup.... lob it all into a casserole dish and bake for 30-40 minutes. mmmmm
Mash and beans does not compute! :naughty:
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Kiwi stole the piece of toast I made for breakfast. He was like a flying squirrel. He came from nowhere and flew out into the garden.

I managed to gather my wits to yell he dropped the toast, and in told dog dog she could have it.

    Never has such behaviour happened.

I hope you said something along the lines of:
Kiwi , lei è un cane molto buono , ma che era incredibilmente comportamento cattivo! Sono scioccato e molto deluso . Parliamo non di più, ma spero che questo comportamento non si ripeterà .
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Now there's only two of them, he's making a bid for Top Dog. You need to make sure you keep that job and don't let him think he's got a chance.

Herrings in dill marinade, anchovies, tatziki, two slices hm bread and half a lemon in hot water.as PN would say mmmmm.

Not to that I wouldn't....don't know what half of it is!

Never had dill marinade, heard the words dill and marinade, never knew they could be joined.
Never had anchovies - don't like the thought of that
Tatziki - a word that rings a bell.... not sure how though.
Bread - I know that bit.
Half a lemon in hot water.... I don't have/buy/use lemons, but I do know what they are :)

Speaking as a single person .... people in couples wax lyrical about how they'd bother to cook for one .... yet they will then say they don't eat XYZ as their other half doesn't.

    :)

    Just an observation.

Fir and I compromise for each other. ( apart from pasta bakes:D)

RP otoh. Its easier for me to try and find compromise between RP and fir and forget about my wants and just try and scratch to suit my needs.

The nights its really hard living apart are the nights when things are most stressed and you want to be together because you don't really know what's happening.

Its very stressful and the differences in our characters are most clearly identified at times like this I think. I'm trying to remind my self that even if we lived together I couldn't be sitting on the end of his office desk or bringing him coffee or failing to withhold my opinion. ;) I do wish he'd fight from home tomorrow though. I just feel some perspective might help.

Still be bored of each other this time next year probably :)

In the main he has been exceptionally caring this week. He has a particularly loving streak that comes out when fir isn't here and well, when I am at particular stage of menstrual cycle. He is not 'rude', he just is very mindful of me, curls into the small of my back, and stays close.

The toast thing....maybe he was protecting me from my hormonal carb cravings? :rotfl:

No, I know its bad ownership, and things have been slack. I'm not really worried about top dog thing, but I don't like begging. And thievery is just from hanging around the table and feeling confused about whose food is whose. It will be ironed out. :)

I'm just starting on my signature dish. Fish finger sandwich with a dash of vinegar and a bag of crisps on the side ;)
