Very nice. From the size of the bite you'll have to look very, very hard.

I've not been in the ocean in ages. I might have to take a week off and do an Airbnb somewhere.

    Happy belated birthday Lydia :)

Wedding went ok! Speech wasn't fantastic but people complimented me on it. Not something I'd want to do again to be honest!

In some bad news, a bit of the car door handle (just a rectangular bit of plastic) came free from the door handle when the passenger door was shut of the car I'd rented. At first I just clipped it back on, no problem. Went back to the car later and it had gone, retraced my steps to try and find it but couldn't. Now just had an email from the rental company saying they were going to weigh up the costs associated with the 'defective door handle'. Not sure what my rights are here! Will have post on an appropriate part of the forum.

They can try. No doubt you have some responsibility for an accident, but this was a defect on the car. If they charge your credit card, dispute it.

Unless you bashed the door handle against something, of course. Just shutting the door would not Have caused anything to fall off if it had been in good working order.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

It's a real skill to be a good public orator. Professionals rehearse and rehearse, and get better.

If nobody ran out then I'd say you did well ! :)
