Even as a new model I managed to get mine half price at Tescos by using a combination of vouchers and offers (you have taught me well as a budget ninja Sensei). It is infinitely better than my old HTC, which is probably about the same age as your old one.
ETA: should say I bought phone as have a very cheap minutes bundle that I didn't want to leave.
I would easily find a sensible priced replacement, the problem is justifying it when my current phone continues to work satisfactorily despite all the abuse I manage to throw at it, surely 10+ drops onto concrete and 3 full immersions should be enough to finish off a mobile phone.....I think....0 -

There comes a point that you just have to do it michaels. Otherwise we'd all still be walking around with bulletproof Nokias:Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? That fact that you still consider it a "phone" shows where you are going wrong.
They are mobile "devices" and phoning is the last thing most people use them for.
I do not know the last time I called either of my 2 SS's and they actually answered...............in fact texts rarely get much response either.
Now a facebook message is whole different ballgame, and I will get an instant response.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -

Yes
1. The other 3 teams in the NFCS are pants
2. The BUCS (all caps) are a good young side on both sides of the ball, Defensively they should be maturing into a strong unit, especially the front 7, and on Offense they have some big play makers and Jameis Winston has something special about him, the only question is the running game, but then again when hasn't there been a question about that ?'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
Yuk! Kitchen is a no go area,
HID was on the other side of the kitchen next to the sink when I came back in after my upteenth trip to the recycling bin, when suddenly she rushed past me and out of the door with her hand over her mouth.
When I looked, there was a raw chicken breast sitting under a pile of dishes...............it must have been there for weeks judging by the state and smell of it.
We are not expecting much of the deposit to be returned needless to say.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
Wow, it's a bit warm isn't it? I've been in an air conditioned room pretty much since Mon lunchtime and have just driven home. Sweaty0

Glad you are home and ok Nikks. The joys of AC at work...
I am sitting in something akin to the bat cave. Advice to close all windows and curtains being judiciously followed. Temperature indoors currently 25, which is not too bad. Heathrow has just set a July high temperature of 36.7.
Gen's probably reading this and thinking "winter".Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? If all goes well I can go from teh AC office 1 minute to the AC tube 2 minutes to the AC train 30s to the AC car.....
WE don't have the AC unit out of the shed at home but with the roolights and bifold doors open and the blinds angled to keep the sun out but allow airflow it isn't too bad and the pool is set up in the garden under the gazebo if the worst comes to the worst....
Phone is only 3G but has a 1280 by 800 screen and still does all the facebook interweb whatsapp stuffI think....0 -
My neighbours are outside with a stinky BBQ and a barking dog.
I'm inside with the windows now closed trying to work and getting hotter and more annoyed by the minute.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
