About once a decade we seemed to be promised a space plane that will go from Middlesex to NSW in a couple of hours. It'll probably never happen as people won't pay the premium.

I used to have to put up with my lectures being interrupted by Concorde flying overhead. It hadn't even crossed the sound barrier but was totally disruptive to my lessons, so I was relieved when it was retired.

DS2 has split up with the girlfriend. :(

I was suspicious that they had not made any plans for the Summer. He says they can still be friends. Time will tell. Graduation will be interesting!

is he OK or is he sad?

I just wrote my first computer game for about 30 years!!!

I must admit that watching a computer play rock, paper scissors, lizard, Spock by itself is a little dull but it is an achievement compared to what sort of game I could write yesterday!!!

To get the game to play, press the little play button in the top left hand corner.

All the local kids would run outside when it came, and look up. It was a big deal for us. It used to fly over on a Saturday at about 6pm? Doctor Who time, anyway.

Yeah, about 6pm. We used to get it a few minutes into the start of Star Trek as a student. Noisy bloody thing. Never made a profit either.

A prime example of a political vanity project. Would have loved to have flown on it though.

    It needed some tweaking. ;)

Cheers. I'd resubmit but it has to be all my own work unfortunately.

    I could submit this though:

Write it in APL, and it will all fit on one line of code, with the added advantage that nobody but the author can understand it or maintain it. So, if it's a useful program, he becomes unsackable.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
