Duvet for me. Blanket folded in half over the bottom half of the bed.

Saw a beautiful bedspread the other day though, which I nearly bought. Then talked myself out of. Don't know what colours the bedrooms will end up as yet...

I don't think bedding has to match the bedroom. In fact, I think often it looks better if it doesn't. You can redecorate a room, and a good bedspread or quilt will long outlast decoration. If you love something and its really good quality, then....nest Nikkster.

I'd need to think and see I'd again to decide whether I loved it or if I just liked it.

And to check whether if was actually good quality or just pretty pretty.

    Don't worry, I'm definitely nesting :)

Programme just started on BBC2 about drinking/binge drinking ... and whether it's better to drink a little a day, or binge - they used twins to compare in a test.

One will drink 3 units a day for a week - the other one will binge drink the same amount in one go.

It's a fantasy of many a bloke out on a binge session .... "twins".

Hang on, just checked the show. I think we have the wrong twins..

Yes, but the beards on these twins would need a trim before you attempted it, I suspect.

So...the telly and Richard Wright has been full of this puppy farm scandal.

Can I just reassure NPs that Lottie is free range :)

...well, certainly her poo's seem free range to me.

Luckily, she hasn't linked the puppy poo behaviour to her fave hobby of stealing slippers yet.

    Give it time....she will.

That's a good plan. Its always worth leaving things to see if you feel the same way.

I have a Beautiful bedspread I love made out of tiny bits of saris. Its very beautiful but frays easily. :(. Its also very heavy. I used to like the weight of it but now cannot stand heavy bedspreads. One day it will protect a guest bed I hope, if not I'll hopefully find a friend who loves it. :(.

Hopefully not as free range as kiwi  or the geese who tried to do a runner ( waddler? ) today too. They want to be in the garden and if I lock them out their protest is to try and run away from home. Not a proportionate reaction to being told they cannot be in a garden. They like to look into the cheese room and wind up the dogs :D

    Flaws:
    - beards
    - so TWO beards

    :(

They're also annoying. They have that patronising voice tone often found on this type of programme.
