    Goodness GDB. What a heart-wrenching sight :(

Maybe I'm extra sensitive today as it's my ma's birthday.

Edit: and I'm being a bad daughter and not visiting today/ this weekend. :(

    Yes, but no.

    Don't quote, will probably delete:

But I also know that they'll not be being 'treated' by their OH.

I feel even more guilty because I'm going out tonight. For a proper night out dancing :o
First time in a disgraceful amount of time I'll be Going Out 'just because' and not for a hen do/ wedding/ Christmas party.

I'd guess if I'd gone back we'd have a nice dinner and lots of wine. I know it would have been appreciated if I'd gone back. Oh well, I made my choice - no-one else did.

Wow... so quiet in here tonight. Friend who I'm hitting the town with texted to say she wad ruining 40 mins late for meeting up... excellent, that means I can have a G&T and water the hanging baskets :)
However much I might resist, I definitely have some grown-up traits.
That might be it for today though. Hopefully there won't be any more posts from me tonight... otherwise apologies in advance :o

    Morning, GDB.

I'm sorry. We are away for the weekend for our anniversary. Yesterday there was bad traffic on the M5 so I got a tour including places Doozer had purchased random objects for lir's house. It wasn't that exciting. We spent a large part of it behind the world's slowest Peugeot 206.

I cannot fathom the council - they all try exceptionally hard to turn stuff away and seem to assume that people will move their largest unwanted goods in their own car. If Mr was in London yesterday as he normally would have been, and we'd have thought sooner, we could have organised a van and happily done a round trip for Nikk and LJ too. :(
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Spurred on by GDB's tales of clearing stuff, we are clearing small stuff . We can rehome it to the fete which takes place next week so today will drop off our unwanted white elephants, books, and gifts. We need to make the most of the opportunity even though this was not our plan for today ( OH wants to try out the new hedge cutter and I want to plant fren ch and runner bean seeds and we both want to go for a swim.)
Boookshelves less overcrowded, Pantry and utility now have space, Garage has more to go.My car is loaded up and we will fill OHs and then ring stall holders to agee a time to drop the [STRIKE]Clutter[/STRIKE]goods off.

We were at the dump at opening this morning, and it's all gone now, which is a bit of a relief to be frank.

I don't want to say too much, but the whole of yesterday was proof of why I never trust anyone.

I never really get emotional, but I have to admit I was really upset last night and feeling a rather weird mix of upset/angry this morning.

It's nothing to do with OH/DD's or my work here :)
