"a gun and an Apple mac"

Was it an iGun ? ;)

For me, the look of the wood in the stock of a sporting gun adds to the look of the gun. I guess it's a personal choice thing.

It's nice to see a lot of support for courses :)
I'd like a bee keeping course, but I'm not sure if we can keep bees here.

No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Another 3.75 lbs loss for Josh and 1.5lbs for me this week....slowly but surely it is coming off.

Youngest has his PIP assessment tomorrow (unless they postpone for the third time), he is getting in a state, I am getting in a state and I can see it all going horribly wrong tomorrow...just hoping the person doing the assessment realises that one of his main problems is communication, especially with unfamiliar people (and some familiar ones too!) and also unfamiliar places. Goodness knows what I will do if they are one of his non people, although I am his appointee, so should be able to answer questions and give information.

Well, I hope I can anyway.....

I also bit the bullet and made a claim for PIP last September after collapsing at home, my assessment is Wednesday which is being held at my home, I didn't ask for a home assessment and apparently they are quite hard to come by, so I am assuming the OT report had a request for one.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Good luck with both Youngest's assessment and your own, Sue!
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
