I confess it's not in my mindset; this public sex thing.

My initial reaction was to suggest they use properly maintained saunas or purpose built buildings; but maybe people like the fact it's outside?

Its funny. The group aspect I can 'get'. The outside bit I get. Even doing it in a car I can get. I can even sort of get my head round exhibitionism of sorts, ( though not this sort) and voyerism is common enough if not my bag.

But the whole sort of combination of it makes me shudder. I consider my self fairly open minded to other people's consensual foibles, but lots of those dogging spots are places that are or were places that people ( including families or kids) dog walk and horse ride. People who just want to commune with nature, not stumble across this and associated behaviour in car parks and near by bushes and woods.

    Sending dodgy hugs: :grouphug:

I assume that anyone parking outside LIR's place at 3 in the morning was, indeed, having a dodgy hug. :)
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

*** Grumpy old man alert ***

I thought I had better put the alert in before starting.

One part of Hampstead Heath is well known as a gay cruising spot. That's not a problem, as all the activity takes place after dark, well after the kids are tucked up in bed. The Hill Garden is a delightful garden in the middle of this area. We used to take our children there sometimes, when they were little.

What you can't see on that picture are the used condoms littering the grass, although you can see the bin where the users could have deposited them, but didn't. I didn't really fancy picking them up, knowing where they'd been.

    Totally agree GDB.

Fwiw though, people walk their dogs late at night often enough, office workers, shift workers and stuff. So etimes people want to use public foot paths and bridle ways for late night nature walks ......owl watching etc etc.

I roll in the bracken in the woods might well be delicious. But when it makes areas no go for others permanently it seems a bit of a shame. :(

Maggie Are you all right atm? You're very quiet. Thinking of you.

Thanks for asking Ivyleaf. Just not been doing too well recently. I think a lot of it is down to protracted dental treatment. Even had to go in for an unscheduled visit as the temp crown came off. Most times the visits are at least an hour, sometimes hour and a half. Find can barely walk when get out of chair. Have hygienist this Thursday, but after that am taking a break from the ongoing treatment.

Discussed it with dentist last week, explained that I've reached the point where I get out of bed to go for treatment then spend rest of week in bed. I'm afraid I shocked him, so was at pains to explain that it's the DD that's the problem, not him in any way. I hope I explained well enough, as he's just been really kind and brilliant, would hate to appear ungrateful.

Then Sunday we went to GrandTwins's birthday tea! We gave them Star Wars Lego, seemed to go down well though they will need help building the models. We had fun, but yet another really knackering event. ;)

Once hygienist over we might try head for the hills after we've done some work on the lottie. Might even get that done tomorrow as it's supposed to be sunny here.

No cats here (there are enough in the neighbourhood though). But I do have a steadily increasing collection of cardigans :o

Just make sure you don't get a collection of moths! ;) We're still setting traps and vaccing. OH will be doing bedroom and landing before we head for the hills. Can't go before doing that. Though touch wood things may be improving a little. But did find one in wardrobe on Sunday. Prob should go through all the clothes in there and either wash or freeze.

Youngest has his PIP assessment tomorrow (unless they postpone for the third time), he is getting in a state, I am getting in a state and I can see it all going horribly wrong tomorrow...just hoping the person doing the assessment realises that one of his main problems is communication, especially with unfamiliar people (and some familiar ones too!) and also unfamiliar places. Goodness knows what I will do if they are one of his non people, although I am his appointee, so should be able to answer questions and give information.

Will be thinking of your Youngest [STRIKE]tomorrow[/STRIKE] today, or is it over already? Hope it goes as well as possible. And you will have The Vibes from me for tomorrow. Time? Though Vibes are timeless of course I do like to try send them at the right time! :) Very glad that you're able to have a home visit. Hope you've joined Benefits and Work and have read their notes on PIP. Well worth the money in my view. Hugs to you both.

I thought this is something that NP might be interested in?

I'm in the 1,070,000's most common. Only 133 people have this surname.

I just had a commercial group email asking me where the first half of 2016 went. This has left me very confused.

    Grumpy alert mark 2...

I didn't get shortlisted for the first job I applied for :(

I'll be honest, with my experience & qualifications, I'm very surprised to not get an interview.
With absolutely no enthusiasm, I put in for the 2nd job today.

I'll post an update on the things I've planted in the next 24 hours.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.
