Need to change my flight tomorrow from the early to late one, but Eurovision related updates will be with you from Monday
Officially supporting💙💛 💔0 -
On the subject of Eurovision, it amused me to see that an X Factor reject tried to represent Moldova this year. She has no link to the country. However they have opened up the contest to international artists to increase their chance of winning. Did make me laugh. Apparently she failed and they selected someone else. Oh the shame...Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Feeling surprisingly ok. So far.
Should get up now and get into the office so I can also leave earlier and have a power nap before the tonight. Should probably also take off my green nail polish. Not because it's chipped (it is) but I don't want anyone to think I'm making a political statement :rotfl:0 -

IMO for Moldova, Natalia Barbu or Sunstroke Project should be back. Frorm memory, they're the only two decent entries that Moldova has sent.
Didn't some French unknown try to represent UK in 2007?
Also Ruth Lorenzo last year for Spain. I know she's Spanish, but she made her name in the UK before. She's bl!!dy good, though!💙💛 💔0 -
It's been the case for many years that British composers enter as part of a team for different countries, therefore I shouldn't be surprised when it happens at artist level, e.g. Brit representing Germany (last year?)
It did amuse me though that even Moldova, which hasn't exactly been a shining star in Eurovision land, still rejected it.
Ruth Lorenzo is at least Spanish and was a credible entry with a good song.
I don't know who is now representing Moldova.
Lots of samey ballads this year, not terrible, but not standout either. I don't think it is going to be a classic year, which is a shame considering its a special anniversary. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I went back to the rhematologist today. She is of the opinion that I can control the pain with exercise.
I've gotta admit I have my doubts but it's brilliant news if true. Improving my core strength, which is what she wants me to do) would really help my cycling too.

I've had many many people tell me that over the years too Gen...
I'm not saying it isn't the case with you but it is their favourite 'get out' saying despite evidence to the contrary.
All I will say is that without a good core, restraining an Aspergic child in a rage will not end successfully......and I always had a successful outcome (unless he knocked me out first!)We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Sadly, no broom cupboard and the under stairs area is an open area, so that wasn't an option :rotfl:We made it! Well, I voted. I decided I had to stick to my morals and vote even though can barely be bothered to this year.
More interesting is that I sowed some liquorice.. And am thinking about getting asparagus peas and sea kale going. Planted out some caraway, stevia, welsh onions and a bought in wasabi plant, it has nice leaves ( which tbh I fear might be more useful to me as a garden feature than the root might be as a kitchen one
).
Changed into a skirt because was very hot and G and I thought we might plant out some sweet corn now the wind died down, but now weathers changed and its cold grrrrrrrrr.0
