Not sure I'm going to sleep too well tonight. Firstly, I mainly did sleeping yesterday. Secondly, tomorrow is my final day as 32-year old. And thirdly, I should hopefully have locked up my crummy front for the very last time. Please let that have been the very last time.

Just waiting for a phone call to tell me rain (and gale force winds...) have stopped play for the day :(

Edit: and as predicted, bad nights sleep here.

...or salad cream as we call it :)

Kinda. Salad cream also has sugar and riboflavin in it.

I've never tried growing a riboflavin myself.

What, vitamin b2? You might have done! Legumes, leafy green veg, mushrooms... :)

When I was growing up you put salad cream on a salad .... and I've never had/tried salad dressings and really don't "get" them at all. They seem to be: "take this low calorie plate of lettuce leaves and turn it into something with more calories than if you'd just had a pie and chips from the outset"

I like to see/enjoy my calories, properly.

Not for me....I eat salads without any dressing, except a blob of salad cream.

Its not so hard to calculate calories of hm salad dressings. Even the way I do it , ( dash and splash) just over estimate quaintly added and add up calories of contents and then of blob or splash quantity as you would your blob of salad cream.

My splashes and dashes are accurate enough to bake from, I can eye ball a teaspoon and table spoon. I find liquid quantities a little harder and have to pour out in rough table spoon or think in sort of mental cup quantities. The allowance for inaccurate is why I round up with comfortable allowance for calories for things like that.

I also cook in a mixture of cups and imperial and metric, when I am weighing. So I often have to check what is in other than whole things IYSWIM.

Last night I dreamt about MSE. I was at the school where I used to teach 20 years ago, waiting for an unspecified event to begin, and Martin was there. I was telling him all about the NPT and what a great thing it is. He was impressed with what I told him. The rest of the dream has faded and I can't remember more than that, I'm afraid.

    :)
I never dream about the NPT.
Ok, just once, when I dreamt about a dodgy grouphug with PN and bugslet, but I can't remember more than that, I'm afraid. ;)

Our garden looks like the scene of a wedding. Apple blossom confetti EVERYWHERE. Also, sadly, heads of lilac and horse chestnut being hurtled off the trees. :(. The quinces have been covered in their pale pink flowers, so breathtaking, and I hope they are coping, not only are they joyful in their blossom, but I'd love some fruit on them....

Of course not! :p Apart from the discussions about curtains and so on.
