Today I had no plans to do anything, so apart from a short walk in the woods with the dog at 9am, i had done nothing then about 2.30 in a fit of guilt I settled on clearing out the picnic hamper as a worthwhile job to do.
I must be scraping the barrel for chores.0 -

View from kitchen window slowly greening up. About the worst weather day to try and take a picture though. There are loads of seeded areas that don't show up in the picture but have tiny sprouts in them.:)
The empty bits in top squares are waiting for tender things mainly.0 -

What a glorious view to be able to gaze at from your kitchen window lir. I love that you'll be able to see it grow and change as time goes on0 -

I like that I can pop out for herbs with no shoes on instead of having to stick boots on and clam our over clay to get to weedy pots for basic herbs as I used too!
We have decided not to finish planting our lavender edging this year, for budgetary reasons, ahem,, so half the long edge is sown with lettuces :rotfl: And where I know I want some peril herbs I might be able to get in end of summer sales I've stuck radishes in.
No reason not to get things in empty patches, even if they are slight cuckoos.
You can see, some of my pear branches, at their next tying in, have come to the end of their space! Incredible.0
