Wasted time on FB - did you know there is an 'other inbox'? Tried to send a message to a cousin I never knew I had but it has gone to the secret box so doubt they'll see it.

Thank you frodders, I've been given some extra hours at work with a child who uses makaton, I've borrowed the book with the signs they know and keep looking through to practise the ones I think I'll need.

Rang insurance to confirm they recieved the cheque, rang orthodontist have been given an emergency appt for this afternoon, so going to press my cross stitches as framer is in the same town so will use the journey wisely and fit both jobs in.
As the ironing board is coming out I'll tackle the bit of ironising as well, going to set up in the garden as its so nice now the fog has lifted.

    So far so good.

Kiddies carry-ons packed. DS was looking for a particular toy car yesterday, bless, he must have forgotten he'd put it in his little case :)

I've tidied, and have a nice space in the garage now, so my case is laid on the floor currently with not a lot in it.

And sorry I forget who asked but we are going to Lanzarote - and we need to leave the house at 3am  actually, the kiddies love that bit - and experience tells me it's best to have the naff flight on the way out when they are excited, and the good flight for the return.

MIL is in charge of the tickets and has our passports  so we will double and triple check her bag when she gets here tonight :rotfl: they once missed a flight as they got half way to the airport and realised they'd left the hand luggage back home. Yikes. I shall be watching and ticking off every item to go into the car, lol.
Right - my hand luggage next :D

Am stupidly thrilled - a couple of months back I bought 3 x raspberry canes from Ald! and followed instructions re planting (soak roots overnight in water) and nothing seemed to be happening. Leaves have appeared on the blackcurrants; rhubarb's growing like mad but raspberries looked dead - but I have JUST checked and now, on each stem, leaves are breaking out of buds. Wooty wooty woot woot WOOT!woohoo1.gif

emmb - welcome back - hope you've brought cake;)

    Bossy happy hols!beachfun.gif

  • Good afternoon, Well today has not quite gone to plan as dd was up ill during the night. I am just going to post my revised list and then make a start.

Bank Holiday Monday(Feel free to have the day off) – Choose a room which never gets much attention, maybe snug, kids bedroom, spare room, conservatory
Do work for clients (4 jobs to do today) – only managed to get 3 done, as 1 overrun
Sort out application form for CRB
    Update progress on £10 challenge
Have a look at office phone and try to sort it
Look into volunteer work to continue work towards long term goal
List unneeded baby clothes on Facebay

    Tuesday
Feed the animals and collect eggs
Read section on Adjectives and adverbs and make revision notes (I am doing some home study courses at the moment)
Read section on absorption of food and make revision notes
    Get a quick shower
Sort through dd’s toyboxand clean out
Hand repeat prescription into the doctors for dd
Go the chemist and get calpol and cough bottle for dd
Sort through the compost ready for planting
    Do work for 2 clients
    Complete client work from Monday
    Pay the oil bill
Take the little ones to the hairdressers
    Clean the bathrooms
    Hoover downstairs
Cut the grass and tidy the garden
Spend 2 hours on course work (Write up some Chemistry notes)
Read section on prepositions and conjunctions and make revision notes
    Sort paperwork for Avon
Read section on phonology and write up revision notes
Check the oil and water in the cars

I think that is everything that I need to get completed on Tuesday, sorry it is mainly focused around course work but this will help me to stay focused.
