I'm sure Dacia do a very economical one.0 -
Legally, and no matter what your "lawyer" told you, they werent obliged to give you a full refund. Clearly they have so they could wash their hands of you.
The reality is, you threw your toys about for no particularly good reason and now you're trying to save face.
Why on earth would anyone be trying to save face (whatever that means) on an anonymous online forum? And yes I probably did throw the toys but I know the dealer was a bit surprised when I just accepted his initial threats that I would lose the deposit took the keys for my old car and drove away.
As for your other parts. Yep you would be correct if I didn't have boardroom access to the brand in question (we are currently redeveloping their CRM system). There is however no chance that dealer knows that fact...0 -

Yep demonstrator = £10k holiday in Oz this summer even compared to the brokers best price..
Diesel as 25k miles a year means I need a diesel (that was the reason why I was car shopping)..
This is after all a site for money savers...0 -
There is if they are reading this and recognise the fairy tale.
Many years ago I found a customer of mine slagging me off on here about the car they bought from me. They changed tune (and removed the post) when I posted a copy of the advert highlighting the spec.0 -

I can understand that but remember I'm not mentioning the chain, part of country or brand here.... I initially posted just to see what the actual state of affairs was (expecting to lose the deposit).
The bit I still don't get is why would anyone send off a V5 before everything is done and dusted..0 -

I find diesels are pretty pointless unless.
He'll top anything you say to save face now.0 -

True but its the only time I can get 4 weeks there (the joys of having children of school age).0 -

Nope. I know there are a lot of petrol cars that are more economic than diesel ones.
I don't really fancy driving an Aygo / C1 tho.... I had 1 as a courtesy car once. Best car I ever drove for the 1st mile. Worst car and a scary death trap for the next 25 motorway miles. Best car again once back in town...0
