    Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Sorry to hear your news Lilt. Thats very sad. Hope you are ok? How is your Mum doing herself now? What a lot of sadness all around. Loving Jellies choice of easter phrases though, she must be bringing some much needed joy.

    Academia - I am due some extra nectar points soon so have ear marked those for a few pairs :) hope you had a nice lazy day.

    Welshkitty - your day out sounds lovely, & well done on the frugal nail thing too! I used to date a biker (or 2) back in the day, & Im telling you now the whole woman biker with amazing shake free hair, is a lie. I had the biggest rats tails I've ever had from forgetting a scrunchie and getting on the bike. I cried when my OH brushed them out. So yeah, I feel for you on the hair issue :)

    Apple - Hello :)

    So today. Well. It was painfully slow at work. Although I did get absolutely loads done on the making side. So I cant complain. Its set me up for the week, and to be fair, on a beautiful day like this, I cant expect a roaring days trade when people are down the coast etc.
    Managed to use over £5 in vouchers towards my business shopping today. Have a £2.50 reward to use next time now.
    Had a really good meeting with a local who may be a great contact for various events in the future.
    Husband and son had a lovely day out in central london with friends, and a mostly low cost day, they took a picnic etc, used buses.

    Right well, you all know what Im going to say dont you. And its Im off for a bath!

    Bob

    Mothernerd - Dont worry, I think we all need to slow down sometimes...

    LittleSkintDragon - Well done on your SFD

    Good evening.

    The downsides of nightshift is that I have slept for nearly the whole day despite being off tonight.
    :doh:

    We did spend today but all of it was "orange labels". It was amazing, ten skinless sausages for 29p. I bought two packets which will give me 5 meals in total.
    :D

    So... my understanding is that it is a spend-free day which brings me to four in total.
    :j

    I am really sorry to hear about your pop lilt. It's always sad when someone close to you dies, even when it is expected. I always struggle with what to say on the internet as it is never possible to convey emotions properly so I will stick with my normal. Lots of hugs to you and your family.

    Sorry, it wasn't an indian as in food. I was trying to be cryptic for the computer system thing and ended up confusing myself. It's the electronics shop named after an indian food.
    :o

    Anyways... I finally have a spare hour to go through everything so here goes.

    * Budget:
    It was £120 but we have spent £48.60 (including the orange labels of today).
    :)

    * Petrol:
    This is a tricky one as my budget will be the usual £40 to fill my car's tank...
    ... however, we will be spending about £300 of the holiday budget travelling down to England with the bongo.
    I think we will ignore the holiday pot spends and just stick to the usual.
    :undecided

    * Pots:
    The usual £100 has gone into the holiday pot. We now have £400 worth of euros and £400 for our UK part of the holiday (bearing in mind the comment about the fuel).
    This month, £30 has gone into the xmas pot. Hooray!!
    :j

    15 Spend-free Days and £5 to the food banks. But of course.
    ;)

    Lunch to work will be really easy but at the same time impossible as I am spending the month on night shift.
    Nowhere to spend money at work overnight but also, I class it as a midnight snack as opposed to lunch. (Sorry, couldn't resist being cheeky).
    :p

    The three commitments will have to wait until I have a bit more of a think. I am pretty sure one of them will be "to be less workaholic-y" but I have failed every time I have tried that one.
    :embarasse

    Hope everyone is doing okay... sorry it has taken so long to get this posted. I will try to be more attentive in the future.
    Hugs to all your turtleys pretending to look like bunny rabbits.

    Quick check in to log two more SFDs for yesterday and today, bringing total to 4. Will be spendy day tomorrow as boys have haircuts and we all have dentist, so will pick up any bits of shopping needed while in the town.

    Stewby, I remember the "lost" day after a stint of nights, though it's been a while since I did any. Well done on your pot activity though :-)

    It's very quiet on here, hope that means you're all enjoying the Easter sunshine x

    Lilt - sorry to hear about your Pop, hope your mummy is alright. Glad to hear Jelly tot is tad better, so much for you to deal with. Hugs to all.

    Welshkitty - need to follow you around with your ice cream parlour knowledge. Well perhaps my tummy doesn't need it. Put on 1lb over week!

    Managed 3 SFD over the weekend so fairly pleased with myself.

    Had a lovely day out Saturday with Grandson, went to local food farm, did Easter egg hunt and the weather was lovely and a cheeky cider.
    Sunday long walk, then roast lamb dinner at daughters.
    Yesterday, just stayed around garden, painting and tidied up, made the most of sun drying clothes., washed everything I could.

    Apologies for my absence was going to post last night but heard some bad news. Too upset to think straight. One of my dog walking friends killed over the weekend in a motorcycle accident, leaves behind two children. Unfortunately their mother passed away last year with cancer. Lovely guy still can't believe it. Experienced biker as well. Will see if there is anything I can do.

    Another lovely day here today. Cupboards are pretty bare but managed to scrape together another picnic and we went to the zoo. I get free entry because of my job, but they let us all in for free! Children did ANOTHER egg hunt!! And got a small egg each. It's been a SFD. Need to add up how many I have managed so far.

    DH just found £10 roadkill!!!! I had walked straight past it! Had gone to town to get sweets for cinema tomorrow (free with vouchers kids won) and it was just sitting there! So it paid for sweets and some cakes from the bakery for tonight's pudding!
