Hi guys
Jelly is much better thanks for asking. She managed a few repeated easter egg hunts around the house and we fed the garden squirrel some monkey nuts.
My Pop (my mums dad) died this morning. Not unexpected but heartbreaking. Very glad I am due to see my mum on Tuesday and she got to spend the afternoon with my big sister having a lovely home cooked meal made by sis, so she will hopefully be ok.
New words for you. Today Jelly wished her daddy Happy Beaster. Followed by explaining how she had been finding Peter Eggs :rotfl:

Quiet SFD. I survived the visit but cannot get moving since. Morphing into a sloth and reading all day and half the night interspersed with snoozing. I have cleaning planned and also some longer walks if the weather stays good this week, I am too slow to go out if it is constant drizzle and will fall over if the driving rain comes back.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0

Spending money 15th April - 15th May 0/£40
Savings:
0/£100 for holiday spending money

0/15 Spend Free days
0/£5 Donated so far
Lunch to work: 0/ 19 (not back in work now until tuesday)
Things for me:
1. Work steadily and hard on the last few parts of my CIPD qualifications so that everything doesn't end up being a frantic rush at the end and I achieve the marks I'm capable of.
2. Leave the office every lunchtime and take a walk.
0/19
3. Do at least one non work/ uni related thing per week.
2/4 (dinner with a friend, park with another friend and small people. Doing well!)
Had to transfer some money over from savings to pad out some of my categories, which I really don't like doing, but I've overspent on groceries this week and had an unexpected (but very pleasant) trip to the zoo yesterday, so will be a tight week before I get paid on the 15th. However, with all the studying I should be doing, this hopefully shouldn't be a problem!
Hope everyone had a lovely easter - it's a shame every monday can't be a bank holidayProud to be debt free September 2014. :j

Oh Lilt, sorry to hear about your Pop
Today was a slight spend for me as we needed bread to take lunches to work tomorrow. Wanted something sweet for after tea tonight but resisted (no discount Easter eggs in the shop apparently, or so OH tells me!), then found an out-of-date jelly sachet in the cupboard, so going to have that with some almost out-of-date tinned fruit (not telling OH that either are OOD - slightly overripe jelly's not going to hurt us!). Other than that, I'm not planning on getting out of my dressing gown todayBought my first house in 2014 - now, to be mortgage free!

Hi everyone!
Well, what started out as a dull and misty day has evolved into glorious sunshine! So, I threw a picnic together and we headed out in DHs convertible to the local nature trail. I don't really 'get' the convertible thing. I was freezing and the wind made a right mess of my hair! But the kiddies love it (including the big kid!). Had a nice walk and then just sat in the sun while the little ones played in the park. Fed some ducks and chickens there too. Lovely few hours out and didn't cost a thing.
Washing is drying outside and windows are open to let some fresh air into the house.
I now need to find some motivation to make progress on my assignments!
ETA: I almost forgot - I have to confess to spending £25 on eBay, but wait a minute and let me explain myself! I had budgeted to get my nails done for my brothers wedding which would have cost £15. I have found the full kit to be able to do it myself for £25 which I thought is a more frugal spend in the long run as I will be able to do them as often as I like!0
