:rotfl: That's me got out of cooking, he's buying a takeaway on way home, told him not bloody cooking at 10pm. :D I win!

Mermaid pleased you've had a good time, I think it's a great idea putting aside things you wish you'd taken, I did this after putting a first aid kit in the car when a little accident happened and I didn't have scissors or enough bandages.

Ok if he's getting tea on way home I can do more in kitchen and not have to mess it up :D find it easier to get motivated when I know I won't mess it up again. Oh and need to do my 'smoked glass' door on my oven too :rotfl: :o I've decided for a full plastic pots/tubs etc clear through, will play matching game with the boys tomorrow finding lids and rehome the ones without lids. (I don't bin them they get reused for cleaning tubs, pots for bedroom things etc ok so I'm a horder :o )

All this of course can start after I've got the kids to stay in bed, they've both fell asleep in the car today as we got stuck in traffic lots so they don't want to sleep now, another reason to hate MIL!!
One day I might be more organised...........

I've got my [STRIKE]slave[/STRIKE] DH washing up the greasy stuff from the roast, and have successfully persuaded him to do lots of little things without even promising him anything,

    ahhh - bliss.

I really ought to go and tackle the ironing hillock (less mountain like now i took charlie's too small stuff off it) but it is still a bit warm. I suppose if i get it done tonight i won't have to do it tomorrow, and it is never as bad as i think when i start.

I'm going to follow my own house rule of get of your a$$ and do it!

    See you all tomorrow.

Hiya Lil_me, thanks for the advice about her nails. She came down about half an hour ago and one that I hadn't taped down has fallen off so i've taped them all to make her feel safer. Poor thing! I've just spoken to someone at our local a&e, a lovely nurse who went and got advice as she said it sounded awful. They've told me to take her in tomorrow if I don't get any help from the GP. So thanks for suggesting that. My daughter has just asked me if it means i'll never paint her nails again and it was so hard not to burst into tears. What an innocent way of looking at it.

I can relate to MIL problems though mine has improved of late.....makes me wonder why! xx

    Tonight I have..
Written a list of things I think is do-able this week, feather dustered the hall of its cobwebs, chased Fatcat with said feather duster for p**sing in my wardrobe while I looked on in disbelief  , followed swiftly by a very thorough disinfecting of the wardrobe. Delightful.. Luckily it was only on the shoe drawer at the bottom and not in it. Maybe he was trying to freshen my work trainers up for me?

I'm calling it a night, got some music pulling at my heart strings so need to get chirpy again before bed time or I'll be maudlin all day.

Have a good night, will try and post my uncrossed list tomorrow before I go to work.

LJD1 .. that sounds really traumatic for her and for you!! How old is she?? I can imagine how badly my 6 year old would take something like that.. I hope they grow back very quickly for her so they can be painted again!!

    Hi everyone

We are back :D had a fantastic time Mickey and Gang were in fine form and we got THE most important sig - Belle that was a must!

Once I get the pics off the camera I'll post a few, bear with me will be later in the week.

So far washed and dried 3 loads of washing, had a 2 hour power nap (all 3 of us) been to see DH and take him some more flowers (missed him loads) got a few fresh bits from the supermarket, bathed kids, trawled through the emails (over 500  ) replied to ebay sales which took place while we were away. Got those to pack in tomorrow when I hope I have escaped the jetlag. Put 'vacation' settings on but still have complaints of 'where's my stuff' and paypal chargebacks pending  sent holding mails for now and keep fingers crossed I get no negs at the end of it all.

Shop to restock, boy I need another holiday!

Will read the rest of this thread after posting, can't believe it's up to 5 pages already!

LJD1 - Pleased you got a good response, I've had to do the A&E route more than once unfortunately, useless GP! Once my son was seriously dehydrated as he had a stomach upset, GP said he'd be fine, well that's why he was on immediate dehydration therapy via drip etc within 20 minutes of arrival as he was passing out then! Pleased I went on instinct that time and ignored his 'overprotective mother' comment. Some GPs are fantastic but my old one most certainly wasn't. Saying that he also misdiagnosed a heart attack as indigestion poor fella died so could be worse.

As for MIL she sometimes is nice, even occasionally asks how the kids are when she phones (think they seen her once last year, haven't seen her since she's been back this time, she doesn't ask to see her grandkids) but then I as what she's after, guarantee there will be something!

AnWsMum, welcome home :j good luck sorting the ebay stuff, I always stop selling when away as that sort of things happened to me before. Don't let it put a downer hols, let em have a moan, some people think you shouldn't have a life outside of ebay because they don't.

Oh darn I should get off my bum and do something, I've barely moved apart from putting the boys to bed, again. Shove me aswell Pigpen :rotfl:

Wow its taken me ages to catch up with the thread, hugs to all who need them and well done to all you flyers - so much going on and everyone getting on top of their cupboards etc. I'm afraid I do my list up until lunchtime then its me time and family time until I have to prepare tea. I think the realisation has come that I only have this week and next week before my holiday then when I come back I'll be back at work, so I NEED TO REST. Updated list earlier and havent done anything else apart from tea and walked the dog with DD.

Have got a busy day tomorrow as I have my list to do, get some food (as didnt shop at the weekend and food is low), have arranged to meet my friend and her children in the park for a picnic at 12, and a friend and her daughter are coming round for tea in the evening - phew.

And I think i'm going to do some of the ironing in a min.

Best go get me cuppa before I start.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
