    Good afternoon,:j

I just realised we were on a new week.
I have managed to do today's planned job. Starting on level one again and building up gradually. DH and I have both got colds and I have a horrible sore throat so haven't done much more than dailies today.

    Level One
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces [/STRIKE]

I have been really inspired reading about people getting to grips with clearing drawers, rooms etc. and want to try doing things like that. I have boxes of paperwork going back to 2004 that needs to be sorted and filed away in the loft. I have bought new storage boxes but need help to move things around so have put feelers out to see if any of my kids want to help me for payment.
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hello, nice and busy on here today I see, :T all.
Lovely half hour at the hygenist (NOT) but my teeth feel lovely and she's given me the extra push to quit smoking - am no longer in denial, the damage has started..gulp.

Anyhow, 7WW, sorry for being a girly swot :o I hate coming home at this time of night to find you've all got sparkly kitchens and mines grotty and sometimes tomorrows list is up all ready and.. and.. promise I wont post a full strike too early again.:rotfl:

Welcome to Nancy888 and congats on your first star!

Shirleypark, :T that's just fab. And the fact that you seem to be doing all the work on your own means when he does go it'll really be yours, all yours. Does that mean the pressure's off to get it finished or will you keep going? I'm pleased for you.

Can you remember doing that? I'm sure you posted that you had one evening after the pub..:rotfl:

Right, off to make my extras list and I promise not to start Tuesday until the list is up. A fair compromise I think..

Poohbear ((hugs)) I've still got mine, so big hugs for you both, know how you feel, so nope Aimee, not much better and GP appoinment will be another week unless I can get a cancellation by ringing each morning. I thought it would go away by itself seeing as anti biotics been and gone, but it hasn't.

Pigpen :rotfl: god help them when they eventually answer.

Shirley, great news with the mortgage, I hope this helps you see the future in a brighter light.

Hugs to anyone else who needs one, have not had chance to read through properly as just got home. Unfortunately DPs 'Bloody PITA Mother' managed to ruin my day, again!!!! God I hate that woman. DP was supposed to take her to the airport, no she decided she wanted to go earlier so took her husbands car there then demanded DP collected the car, her hubby went and got it, brought it back to the Metro Centre (because either that or short stay car park fees of £6+ per hour) poor sod got called out from work to sort out that, so we had to go through there to collect it from there. TBH personally I would have said 'Sod off pay for the car parking when you get back' but her hubby needs the car for work, if she'd took her own car I would have, he's a nice bloke and she just treats him like some sort of slave. She's such a selfish b*tch and thinks everyone should run round after her.

Ok rant over, seeing as it was costing me £20 in petrol had a look around Metro Centre, got all but DS2s school bottoms, non in his size! Worrying now as I tried many shops and were all sold out in his size, so will look again next week. Got his gym shoes etc aswell, just had to get trainers as he needs size 5 which nowhere did in gym shoes. £1 shop again, oh I should avoid those places, too many bargains. Got some more storage boxes in Ikea as when sorting out we've found loads of broken ones.

Best bit, went to Costco and got the new pans I wanted. They do everything I wanted, inc oven safe so can start a meal on the hob and finish in oven. I was going to buy some Circlon ones but these were half the price and more of them, just couldn't justify the extra. Just my knife set to go then think kitchen wise I'll be nearly happy. Told DP to shut up when he mentioned the cost, I've managed for 9 years with £15 pans and knives that were £9 so he can shut it! I deserve new ones. Hopefully these will also be easier to clean, stainless pans without non stick = PITA with no dishwasher! Oh did buy some other things aswell, they do the fruit nuggets at the mo that DS loves (Tesco stopped stocking them) and they work out 1/3 the price I was paying in supermarkets. My new pan set, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BIALETTI-saucepan-skillet-casserole-PAN-SET-BRAND-NEW_W0QQitemZ120147808132QQihZ002QQcategoryZ98847QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem same as that but only £75 :D

Oh yes all that does mean I've done next to naff all at home, kids having suppers/late tea now, will post the list in a mo and then do todays list tonight! :o so well done to everyone as you're all miles ahead of me.
One day I might be more organised...........

ShirleyPark :j :j :j great news about the mortgage!

Nearly all the jobs done today.

Couldn't clean the oven as I've run out of bicarb.
Just need to hoover and wash the floors and I'm done.
Did the extra mission and sorted through and cleaned the cupboard where I keep all baking tins and also the cutlery drawer.

Had a lovely time at one of the local country parks with my friend and our DS's.

Feel like I've had a good day. :T
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.
