Shirleypark - that's brilliant news i'm really made up for you!

I've done my list today and as i'm totally stressed i've also done lots of other stuff so my house will be spotless in a day or two. My daughter got diagnosed with a nail condition a few weeks ago. She came home from sports camp today and two of her nails have popped off from the base but are still attached at the top. On close inspection two toe nails and three finger nails are half off. I know there's so much worse she could go through but I just wish it was me and not her. Sorry to be so down but i'm so upset for her. Saying that, i'm mum on a mission and our GP is phoning in the morning and i'm going to make sure she's has a referral for the hospital ASAP. For now, i've taped her nails down so she doesn't catch them on anything. Sorry to waffle xx

    Evening All

Didnt do too bad today but not great.

Did level 1 and some of level 2 - have cleaned 3/4 of the cupboards in my kitchen (have lots of cupboards). However have thoroughly cleaned the ovens so that is very pleasing.

Dont know how will get on tomorrow as need to do lots of paperwork and also have a massive filing job which will take me a few hours . Will attempt level 1 though.
  • Phew!

I'm a bit too tired to write properly but here goes:
    Level One
[strike]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces [/strike]
    Level Two
    [strike]Clean floors[/strike]
[strike]Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances[/strike][strike]Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round[/strike]
[strike]Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary) [/strike]
    Level Three
[strike]Wipe window sills, clean any marks off windows if required
    [/strike]

Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week No chance! I've already done it 2 weeks in a row
    Declutter mission task
[strike]Sort any cupboard, doesn't have to be in the kitchen/dining room, even if it's just for 10 minutes[/strike] Sorted out crockery drawers - including the one that has been sticking for a month!

I then had to rush into town to collect some tickets for one of my friends and get some emergency picnic supplies. DH and I are off to the West Coast tomorrow to help a friend bring a boat across the Canal: 14 locks in 9 miles - phew! It's very scenic but quite hard work.

Right time to drop my new boss an email and find out where he is hiding as I haven't heard from him in a few weeks.

I probably won't get a chance to drop in tomorrow - have fun without me.

LJD1 sorry to hear her nails have got worse, that must be sooo painful :( hope you get sorted with the referal tomorrow, if not I would take her to A&E and see what they can do, I've done this before when GPs have dragged heals with a skin problem. Some may say it was wrong of me to do so but no little one should have to suffer like that, of course threaten to do so first and see if GP then does an immediate referal! :D Might just give them a gentle kick up the bum.

Just listened to DPs mother's messages she left on answering machine this morning, moaning needed to go shopping hence wanted to go earlier and drag him round the shops. Yelling down the phone because we haddn't answered.... ooo I hate that woman soooo much! She moans that she doesn't know why I dislike her, then does things like this over and over again, just expects everyone to drop things for her.

Have made a start but have decided now she's out of the flaming country and can't cause any more agro (so much easier when she's working away) will do the rest tomorrow. Well ok will potter about still tonight and see what I get done of course. I need to rearrange the new cupboard shelves aswell as there is more pans and I don't have a space for them :o Speaking of which DP is still out doing stuff on her car for her, might ring him because we haven't had dinner yet and much later I won't be cooking!
One day I might be more organised...........

I am getting a refund of the £20 I paid for a pair of trousers I didn't receive though seeing as they are now out of stock.. ggrrr!!!

I have grown an itchy thing on the back of my shoulder and because I can't see it I don't know if it is a bite or if it is my eczema flaring up again... please be a bite!! the latter means I spend the best part of 2 months looking like a leper!!

    Hi all,

Back from a lovely weekend of camping. Boy, did we time it right! Weather was gorgeous. Campsite OK but wouldn't go back there. Neighbours were nice, but would have made Gillian McKeith squeal - they fried up sausages and burgers for every meal. Kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and are completely shattered after so much running about.

House is a tip, but all the camping gear is cleaned and put away and the third load of washing is in the WM. I've even put together a little box with all the odds and ends in that I realised we needed but had left behind, such as scissors, pegs and some bag clips.

Will try to be a busy bee and catch up tomorrow.
