When my DD was little I used to buy the boxes of Pampers nappies from Asda and then used the empty boxes as storage ;) Once "backed" in some old wallpaper or whatever they're very handy, still using some of them now and DD is 6 :D

I think I might actually leave the post office today (Don't shout - there's a strike on so highly unlikely to be collected & delivered considering what time it is now :o) but I'll get them parcelled up tonight! Instead I'm going to take DD for a walk, just not to the local park as I'm sick of the sight of that place :rotfl::rotfl:

    Right, I'm off

    Afternoon Flyladies!

I popped in to see what I had to do today - and got distracted into reading all the posts. Hope all the poorly little ones feel better soon.

    Today I have:

Done 2 hours on the allotment, transplanting leeks, and clearing weeds
Given the hall coving a third and final coat of paint
    Quick bread and milk shop
    Vacuumed hall, stairs and landing
Put in two lots of washing, one dried

I'm now off to do the kitchen...

    Afternoon all,
I have managed to keep up with you all today and have done all my chores.
I'm probably not going to get much done tomorrow as hubby has managed to wangle some free tickets to gullivers kingdom so we are all off out for the day.
If not too shattered when i get home i will try to do something.

We've just got back from our walk at 4.30, DD is still bouncing but in a much better mood than she was before we went out :D Now I need to make tea (Pasta), put her to bed, wrap ebay parcels ready to post tomorrow and then plan a route for a long walk tomorrow to wear her out. She's bursting with energy and I'm sick of going to the same parks or shopping so I'm going to sit down later with Googlemaps (or whatever its called) and see where we can go in half an hour walking, then an hour and then make plans based on weather conditions ;) All activities this summer has to be free or below £5 costs so I need to get creative  :D :rotfl:

Right, off to check the washing on the line and boil the kettle ready for the pasta. Oh and at some point I will clean the floor in the kitchen and I may even do the livingroom later so we can spend more time out tomorrow ;)

That's great news ShirleyPark. Now you can really enjoy the results of all your hard work on the house.
  • I'm back on board for the second week :D DH is away for two weeks so less of his mess to clean up and working from home for a few days so can get flyladying done first thing.

Kids are also out tonight at grandparents so just me and the housework and no-one else to mess it up :j If it is anything like last week I will be mega organised come Saturday and be able to relax! Spent last night cleaning out my wardrobe, only half done and a huge pile of things to go to charity or sell on Ebay. Then got to move on to the dreaded shoe and cosmetic cupboard

After that I think that every cupboard in my house has not been left untouched!

Well I'm quite pleased with my flying today. Have got to a level 2.5, and as Neighbours is on now, I'm heading off for a break before attempting the dreaded paperwork drawer.

Back again - Level 2.5 for me too, I think. I will leave the fridge for Wednesday morning, as it is practically empty by then, and I haven't cleaned the oven. Yes, yes, I know. I just can't face it... If we get a rainy day this week, I may gather up all my courage and go for it.

For the extra challenge, I shall start moving some of the books back up to the bookshelf, sorting out the ones I don't want to keep on the way. I need to clear enough space for all of OH's books, stacked on the black desk in the bedroom. Once that desk is clear, straight on freecycle it goes!

Cup of tea now, and five minute feet up before cooking potatoes (homegrown, yum) to go with cold roast chicken and salad.

Well...I'm home now - been reading all of your posts while I was at work and I was raring to go....BUT I've got kind of sidetracked....

I called and got some blackberries on my way home for a crumble and that's in the oven - behind the new shiny glass door!!!! action-smiley-033.gif...I haven't cleaned the inside yet but that'll get done - my mum asked me at the weekend if my oven had a smoked glass door....speechless-smiley-040.gif...err - no it's a clear one - at least it is now thanks to the recipe for the bicarbonate of soda cleaner that I saw on How Clean Is Your House last week - marvellous....no chemical smell to go with the crumble!!! Ha ha

    I've also
    - cleaned out the cat litter - ughh!!!
    - cleaned out the cupboard under the sink - don't think I need to buy bleach until 2010...biggrin.gif
    - cleared out some clothes into the charity bag for the collectors tomorrow
    - scrubbed the kitchen surfaces (swish and swipe would not have tackled that!!!
    - cleaned the front of my DW, oven and washer

So I've kinda done 1.75 levels - cos I've done an extra mission, none of level 3 and bits of level 2...!!!
Anywhere is within walking distance - if you have the time!!
