Pleased someone else seen it, thought I was seeing things. Shows [STRIKE]addiction[/STRIKE] dedication, Pollybear when you come on when it's supposed to be closed :rotfl:

Blinds up, they were much wetter than last time I got them out, I had to dry them between towels to stop them dripping, always hang them damp to stop them creasing but these were too wet.

Hmm what to do next, something to eat then bed I think, well maybe a bit of TV and mooch around the internet first :D
One day I might be more organised...........

Addiction is right. I absolutely hate it when my computer goes wrong. I get all twitchy :D

No point me going to bed yet, it's too noisy from next door. The music will go off about 10.55. Their mum gets in about 11 usually.

Oh dear, lovely teenage neighbours then. I'm pleased the joining house are a retired couple, weird thing is when they are out I hear the next neighbours downs TV, but he's almost deaf so will let him off. I hear the one next door but know they have it louder because of the deaf guys. Other houses that don't join however sometimes make up for it!

I'm off to bed in a mo, had a yoghurt and can't face anything else, think I'm too tired. Fingers crossed I manage to sleep past 3am tonight!!

Night all, see you in the morning, maybe not there is the phone going again! DP at a guess.

I did one load of washing and went round to my mates to cheer DD up (she fell and hurt herself so was inconsolable until I mentioned her mate wasn't going away today, but tomorrow instead :rotfl: ) so I left DD there for an hour while I ran an errand for my mate, and then I went back and looked after her gorgeous 4 month old baby girl until gone 7pm :D:D I was helping though, she flew through her livingroom & washing while I rocked the baby & kept her amused :T:T

Right, off to potter around. Night night xx

lil_me thanks :) (for the medal lol). I know what you mean about a dumping basket, I have a nice seagrass one with a lid that sits on our radiator cabinet, hubbys keys, phone and wallet get dumped in there usually by me, clearly it is far too much effort to lift the lid as he passes by ....) but at least it stops them getting lost and it stops the hall looking untidy. Of course it if full to bursting with pens, hairbrushes, lipsalves, receipts etc and as of yesterday - a liquid plug in air freshener that I lobbed in upside down so it leaked everywhere - but it smells lovely LOL)

tracyg - hope your Dad is ok and you get to see him tomorrow ((hugs))#

I seem to have felt so tired tonight, just got back in from babysitting and must get to bed. Am hoping tomorrow will be an easy day. Do a few bits in the morning and then meeting a friend in the afternoon, she wants to go out to a park so her 8 month old twins don't catch the chicken pox (think its not infectious now anyway) so I hope the heat eases off a bit.

Mum called tonight, Dad has moved hospital again, this time back to where he was a few weeks ago, they needed the bed of course so he's gone to a less hi-tech place as he is now officially recuperating :T

Was a scheduled maintainence warning from 9pm tonight until 3am when I looked this morning, but isn't there any more, no idea, just going to keep going myself.

Right, kids gone to bed, time to get those blinds back up!

I saw that, too. Don't know what happened to it  but I'd planned to delay coming back until this morning.

What a lovely day. I'm planning to get all my indoor chores done, then out into the garden. Sat will a cuppa, planning my list. Anyone else want one, it's still hot in the pot

I've got dog s*** on my sandal   Must have been last night when I went to lock away the chooks, and it's dried on, and won't budge  It's now soaking in warm water, then will be bleached.

Iv'e tidied my room, and opened the window to air it. Ironing done, but I may do some more later. Car insurance claim – completed and posted. BM – on overnight. Freecycle item – offered and collected. Fruit bowl - cleaned.

I have the bathroom to finish, then 2 toilets to do. Kitchen to tidy. Camping stuff to pack away.

I'm making silk waistcats for DH and DS, so want to crack on with them.

Have a great day, Penny. x

Well today OH is taking DD away for the weekend to his parents place to dogsit but I'm not going. Instead once they've left I'm texting my mate and she's coming around with a couple of bottles no matter how early it is as she'll be kid free tonight as well :j Tomorrow when I get up I'm going to set too and get all the jobs I keep putting off DONE. ;) Then have a long soak in the bath with another bottle tonight  This will be the first time I've been OH & DD free since I moved out of my parents place so I'm going to make the most of it :D

Today however I need to get the laundry done (OH is complaining he has no underwear - if he put his laundry away he would have though  ), dailies completed and DD (and some bits for OH so he doesn't forget them :p ) packed and bathed and her bed sorted.... so now DD is up I'm off to sort out her breakfast & put the TV on for her so I can set too upstairs. :D Laters

HopeElizzy - sorry to hear about your friend :grouphug:.

Hope everyone's okay this morning. I've still got some ironing to do that we want to take on holiday with us - I'm ignoring the rest of the pile. Everything else is packed so hopefully not too much else to do now. Haircuts were postponed again yesterday:mad: but will go and get them done this morning if I have time.

Don't know whether I'll have chance to pop back again today but if I don't I'll see you all in just over a week.

    Have a good holiday Michelle.
