Thought I'd share with you all.. having had such a FUN day!!
Mother of 8 adorable little angels has been arrested for drunk and disorderly behaviour at 2pm. In her defence she slurred ' what do you expect? Third week of the summer holidays, all whinging and whining.. it's too hot, I want a drink, he's looking at me, she's breathing on me, he touched me, she pulled a face at me.. whinge whinge whinge.. on and on.. round and round for the 5th day running.'

The father of the children was unable to comment as she had recently stitched his lips together after going to a dressmaking class for 4 years she made a very nice job of it but he still couldn't comment... though he did make erratic hand gestures

The floor in the house was littered with tiny bits of paper where the 2 year old had spent an entire morning with a pair of rather sharp scissors (stolen from the childrens school) chopping up 2 pieces of A4 paper.

Both washing machines and the dishwasher were rumbling behind all the general noise and hubbub when the eldest child came home.. the blue child.. part smurf! He asks for sun cream on his back because he wants to take his shirt off on the field. Needless to say the answer 'no' is not good enough so a full scale battle of the blarb begins. Half an hour later, Mother ended up slathering him in factor 60 sun block and insisting he wear a shirt because the blisters from last week have still not yet healed. the eldest girl goes out to the field with him.. wearing black.. but at least she has washed her hair and doesn't burn.

the 2 younger boys who apparently only have a brain between them if a fly stands in the middle are spending the entire week winding up the younger ones and behaving like total 'special cases' Their bed room is trashed, they are making ridiculous noises & constantly and tormenting the living daylights out of the younger girls. One is wearing a knights costume, the other a sequin spangled dress.

the 3 youngest girls are whinging and whining and snivelling and I think I may need to hit the bottle very soon.. possibly before I sedate, gag and lock the 3 of them in a cupboard!!!

The wash pile is threatening to consume the whole kitchen and the bedsheets are all sticky. The curtain track from the back room is adorning the floor and there is a computer desk at the bottom of the stairs that has been there for 4 weeks waiting to be taken upstairs. There is currently a whinging child sitting on it playing on a gameboy... screaming like a banshee every time she 'dies'.. I swear there isn't enough alcohol in here!

Once again, despite yesterdays cleaning faeces spread on the wall and hand basin enhances the smell in both the bathroom and the loo.. there is a pile of stinky wee'd clothing on the floor in both rooms, one has a nappy from the 6 year old who is still peeing every single night and half the day.. and no nappy can contain the flood.

The girls bedroom looks like the aftermath of a jumble sale.. wet nappies piled in the doorway.. clothes are strewn everywhere, some clean, some not.. It would disgust pigs if you asked them to sleep in here.. Ice???

There is a potty of excretia in the front room... with worms.. AARRGGHH!!!!...

I can bear no more of this I'm off to the pub... and the photographer and environmental health officer are coming with me! And the very next thing I write will be a letter to Kim and Aggie!!! With a courtesy copy to Anthea Turner!!!

Afternoon! Just killing time really as DS is asleep and DH is snoozing in sofa. Been swimming this morning, DH came and watched, and then we had to go to new house to do the snagging list of things we want doing before we move in. Once DS is up we are dropping him of at MIL's and we are going to nip out for some early tea for an hour:D can't wait. Thanks for all the thoughts for me about my dad.
Had a mad half hour earlier and pegged out washing, hoovered through, emptied DW, S&S kitchen and then did the ironing as it dried in about half an hour. So a little bit of flying.
My Dads had his op, all gone as well as it could and hes come through it fine, just need to sort out what happens next. Will go for 6 - 8 visiting later, might not stop to long as hes never very good after being put out. At least hes okay.
Lil me - hugs, heres the recipes!
Beef and lentil pot supper, makes about 6 baby portions or fills my casserole dish I use for me and DH.
300g lean mince beef, 1 chopped small onion, 225g diced carrots, 150g diced swede (I use parsnips) 75g red lentils, 1 and quarter pints of stock (says chicken or veg) or water, 1tbsp tomato puree, 1 bouquent garni, garlic if you want it
Heat oven to 180, fry off mince and onion, add other ingredients, bring to boil, transfer to casserole dish, cook for 1 and half hours until tender, remove bouquent garni. Can be topped with mashed potato, DS like his with sweet potato.
Chicken with sweet peppers – recipe for one chicken breast, will need to double it up if using more
Quarter of chopped red onion, half garlic clove, 1 chicken breast diced, 200g tin of chopped tomatoes (I use fresh ones), half red pepper, herbs to taste
Fry off onion and garlic, sweat for 2-3 mins, add chicken and fry until browned, add tomatoes, peppers and herbs. Bring to boil, lower heat and simmer (uncovered) for about 10-15 minutes. Serve with rice and pasta. Says you could also add courgettes or mushrooms as well.
Right will go and see if I can find a cheaper car insurance quote:rolleyes:Lightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!
Baby on board!:D0 -
Pollybear, I think you have been very reasonable about the noise. I would have been round and asked them to turn it down. I get upset when next door leave security light on overnight. Its a holiday cottage so I have to go round nearly every time there is a changeover.
Lil_me, I didn't know there as an outlet place near Wet and Wild. Next time we are over there I will have a look. I'd like to get some Christmas pressies early. I got some excellent fruit and veg at a wholesaler in S Shields last week. Its a long way to go for us, but we try to make the most of any trips out eg hospital visits to N'castle, or visiting relatives.
7ww,three of my hens are rescued from a battery farm, they are the tamest. I should really be adding cleaning out hen house to my list of jobs each week.
Rain has stopped and fourth load of washing is ready to go out. I can now see the boys bedroom carpet. Hurray!
I have also been to take the car for it's service. The man was very nice about us forgetting this morning.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

poohbear - It's Royal Quays, there is a Body Shop outlet store and the prices for gift sets are very good. http://www.royalquaysoutletcentre.co.uk/ lots more too inc M&S etc. Only thing I disagree with is the rabbit village. It's near the fish quay aswell, which has a lovely fish shop called Kristian's, well worth a visit (restaurant was so full last time but luckily they do takeaway which is slightly cheaper so we sat watching the boats). There is a little shop near it that does amazing bacon and other pork products (sign on the outside says it all, some funny slogans on the windows which make me giggle) he also does a lot of farm made preserves etc which are lovely. Fresh fish shop there is nice aswell.
Pigpen, sorry but that made me laugh, a lot, however reading through sounds like hell at home at the mo, bit of chaos they say never hurt anyone but all that and I think I'd be in to be sectioned! Stay brave, hols aren't much longer!
Tracyg great news about your Dad, pleased to hear it's gone well, thanks for the recipes too
but guess what I forgot to buy a pepper today
will make that next week! I love peppers!
Just looking outside, poor neighbours son is really badly sunburnt, I asked if he had cream on 'Mam doesn't buy it too expensive' !!!!!! you can buy it at the £ shop!! OK not the best stuff but will stop him looking like a beetroot. No tshirt on either, my sons been told if he takes his off he comes in!One day I might be more organised...........

Cutting the grass any earlier wouldn't really have been fair on the other neighbours. They'd been up late with the music too I expect.
I've thought about complaining but I worry about retaliation. They're going to get bigger before they grow up and leave!0 -
Pigpen, Should we organise a rescue mission for you? It sounds like hell there. And I moan about here, at least I can go out during the day and leave them all home alone now.
Tracyg, I am pleased your dad's ok and that op has gone according to plan. I have printed off your recipes for my folder too. Thanks.
Lil_me, Those poor rabbits!
I forgot all about the fish quay. I haven't been there in years. Thanks for the reminder. I will try to get DD to take me there in the next week or two. I will look out for the pork shop too. DS1 complains that all we get is lamb and chicken so would be a good treat for him.
I have been home alone all day and I am really enjoying it. Seems like first time in months but probably isn't that long.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Wouldn't be much point bringing you here Pigpen, 15 or so last time I counted
why do they all come here
Poohbear, with the rabbits, they don't seem too bothered with all the kids hanging over looking at them I suppose they are used to it, the run/garden/house etc is nice but I don't agree with things like that for marketing. I told a 'brat' off last time we were there as he was hurling pebbles at them, told security guy too who found said brats parents and asked them to keep him under control, little sod! Pork shop is a grocers, he mainly does bacon, just searched and found their website http://www.williamwights.co.uk/ Dennis is lovely
that great poster is on the website too http://www.williamwights.co.uk/bacon.asp you can see some of the little signs that are all over the shop on some of the photos, it's worth visiting just to see those. Our farm shop does pork but I don't really like it much
& DP won't usually eat it. I got some Butter Lemon Cheese last time we were there, it's fantastic! I have to hide it from DS2 as he's been dipping his fingers in and eating it :rotfl:
I like being at home too, I cursed his Mother earlier on in the week when I planned a day home then had to go out.One day I might be more organised...........
