Evening FLYers
I'm doing a little flying each day - mostly just dailies though I managed to clean the bathrooms today before trotting off to w**k.
:sad:It's a bit of a !!!!py week - my friend is in the local hospice and won't be coming out. She had bowel cancer last year and has been in remission for nearly a year but it's come back and spread up into her stomach. She is only 40 yo and has 2 little ones aged 8 and 6. Our Dh's have been friends for 35 years and we've known each other for about 18. Her Dh has said how much he needs us and of course we'll help any way we can but generally feeling very down and useless. She is a very lovely person and I don't want to loose her so I can't imagine how her dh is feeling. The ladies I work with have been great and the couple of times I've lost it and sobbed this week there has been a comforting hug available which I've been very grateful for.
When they're allowed to move the poor creatures off the farms that is... Tomorrow may be busier. (Don't think am breaking the Official Secrets Act saying this, don't know any for one thing!)
Solwaykid**whispers** you're right....I work in a vets and the local defra office are telling us that they'll be movement on slaughter/dead animals from midnight. Don't we have interesting jobs!
I've not managed to read back properly through all your posts but I did notice someone had a little girl with poorly finger nails - I hope she isn't too distressed and it doesn't hurt too much.........but other than that and I think lil_me's new oven (yah!) my mind's a blank! So, !!{HUGS}} all round because I need them even if you don'tand I'll try and look in tomorrow. xx
