Doing rubbish this week. Keep doing lists and then doing nothing. I am one of the few people who don't like summer, not cause the kids are home just find it depressing and boring - funny I know. Still working on Tuesday!

Tuesday Living Room, and Stairs and family room

    Level 1
    Vacuum floors and sofas

    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • [STRIKE]
    • Clear one hotspot, or just spend at least 5 minutes tackling it - garage shelf
    • [/STRIKE]Clear desk, dust and replace items after giving them a wipe over
    • Clean a window in these rooms, only need to do one but you can of course do more if you like Delegating this to OH
    • downstairs loo
    • accounts
    • pta letter
    • find colour voucher
    • sort kids school pictures
Have just tidied up and swept the patio with DS2 help as his job for the day. DS1 is doing the lawns.
I have stripped our bed and hoovered but not finished - will finish now.
Taking DS1 and 2 to the GoKart tract this afternoon for doing so well in their end of year tests/reports - it was promised at Easter if DS1 pulled his socks up and he did:D

Kirby was duly delivered by my Mum this morning on her way to go swimming, and have re-removed the clean bed linen to hoover the matress. I was going to hoover the rest of the flat too, but realised that the bag was well and truly full, so I guess my Dad has been too lazy to replace it.

Have managed to clear a load of paper and put it in the recycling now :A so the desk looks a bit better, but there is still a load of stuff that OH will have to sort out when he gets home, as I can't really sort any of it out for him. Still haven't been brave enough to try and clear my desk yet, although I suppose it will have to be done soon emot-pig.gif as it's getting me down looking at it every time I go past the door.

I may be going out to lunch with my Mum soon depending on how she feels after she has been to the CAB about getting a divorce from my Dad! We are meant to be going round to dinner tonight, so it will probably be very awkward, as I don't think that she has talked to him about it. She has been threatening to divorce him since I was at high school, so I never thought it would really happen (they've been married 27 years, but he is an alcoholic, and things are just getting on top of her now my sister and I don't live at home anymore). Just wish there was a way to stop him drinking without resorting to going on the Jeremy Kyle show or similar. :(

Anyway, enough moaning - I'm off to get the washing in and put away, and then will put the bed linen back on - think the matress has had enough airing now. :)
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

V annoying though, the mind is willing, the body not so much.

    Afternoon All!

JillD glad your DS is a bit brighter
Sexymouse hugs to you and your mum

Been out most of the morning on a playdate for DS, called in to see my parents and they watched LO while I dashed round Asda for a few bits. My Dads off to hospital again this afternoon so DS cheered him up, seems the op he had a few months ago as not worked AGAIN (both surgeon errors) and now a nasty infection has set in.   This plus his other health problems is just a nightmare, hospital will be getting a rocket later and am sure they will be taking legal action after DH has advised them where they stand. Sorry just needed to rant.

Anyway, DS pooped and fast asleep, didn't need to do too much on list as did it Teus for EA. On a good note the contracts have arrived today for our new house for us to sign and return so all looks good there:j

Oh yes - i know! don't worry - it won't be happening again, just a pretty mixed up week and i wanted to feel like i'd done something. However today, even though I'm "at work" we've been out for 3 beers and have already decided to leave a 5 for a few more! Funny how a day at work can be more relaxing than a day off!

Finally managed to get going today, after another strong coffee...

The computer was also having a very slow day, so I used the waiting time to clean the desk etc. Sitting here wearing sunglasses, as so sparkly clean:cool:

Cloakroom and bathroom to level 3 plus a bit, as I also bought a new shower curtain!

Off to marinade the chicken, trying a new recipe tonight...
