Poor DS is so uncomfortable. He had an ok night, was up a few times in the evening, then again at 3 when I gave him some medised and then he slept til 9.15 this morning! He woke up very distressed though but seems a bit happier now. We cancelled our outing to the park as he even has spots on the palms of his hands, wouldn't hold his spoon for brekkie, so I thought climbing at the park and getting sandy might not help.
We are going to go out this afternoon to Blockbuster so they can choose some DVDs to rent for the next few days, and get petrol but that's about it.
Will read others posts later, jst off to do lunch.
Today's jobs looking good:
[STRIKE]
- get kids up breakfasted
- clear up from breakfast
- cancel picnic in park, DS not well enough
[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- go to midwife appointment[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- call tax credits to tell them I am now officially on maternity leave
[/STRIKE]
- do lunch
- clear up from lunch
- go to Blockbuster
- go to pharmacy for calamine lotion and rhus tox for DS
- get petrol
- sit down with cuppa and biccy
- renew car tax online
- wash those flipping baby bath things which are STILL all crusty and dusty upstairs
- chop bottom off DD curtains prior to hemming them
[STRIKE]- tackle filing in study before it gets too intimidating again
[/STRIKE]- I might have a go at sorting some old photos and binning duplicates etc, might be fun for the kids to help and have some old ones to play with, do cutting and sticking with etc
- make dinner for us all
- pin material into cushion cover shapes prior to sewing
- pin curtains together for our room prior to sewing
[STRIKE]- make out list of stuff for OH to do before he goes away on Sunday[/STRIKE]
Not sure I will do much flyig today, our bedroom actually is ok, I am so tired dealing with DS, and its so hot, I can't face lugging the hoover upstairs.

Right, did get of my backside and did the following:-
S & S Kitchen
Hoovered & mopped bathroom, porch & kitchen floors (littles help)
S & S Bathroom
Hoovered through
Aired and made beds
Cleared out fridge
Did a cobweb hunt (whilst doing the dinosaur stamp - littles love this)
Popped to shop for veg
Popped to library (hired DVD - The Sound of Music)
Lunch made and scoffed
Played lots of games with the littles too!
The ticks on the drywipe boards seem to be working. Only 1 time out for DD1 yesterday and none YET today! Trying extra hard to focus on the good.
Still to do:-
Prep veggies etc for roast later
Put ironing away (DH did it last night while I had driving lesson)0 -

JillD and Instilligel!
Hope he gets better soon, its horrid, especially if they are a bit older and know whats happening. The little ones can just cuddle in.
Its also horrid on you because they are so clingy and crabbit and you just want to get 5mins to yourself!0 -
*kicks self*

I was so cross with myself  for not getting the living room done yesterday, that I did it this morning, after breakfast, and before anyone else got up! Cleaned the windows, de-cluttered, polished coffee table, and vacuumed. Feel much better now!
I haven't done the electricals, as I ran out of time before DS2 started up the Playstation...
I have washed the bedlinen, but not vacuumed or dusted yet. The landing was redecoratedand the bookshelf sorted last week, and so nothing needs doing there this week.
I've also done the weekly shopping, than took DD and DS1 for haircuts. My hairdresser has planted out the garden behind the salon, and added tables and chairs, so I sat out there in the sunshine, with several magazines that I'd never buy for myself, and had a very relaxing break. It's tough, but hey, someone's got to do it!:D
Just off to do a few bits in the bedroom, than out in the garden. I'm having a day off the allotment today. Meeting tonight, hope it won't go on too late, as I don't want to be too tired to garden tomorrow. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0
