Sexymouse: Congratulations - it must be great to have the certificate actually in front of you. How's the job hunting going? Any more good temping jobs come up recently.

Unfortunately no more temp jobs have come up yet - the girl at the agency said that she would have one for me that started last Monday and would last 2 weeks, but then the client changed their mind as they wanted someone who could become permanent.

It is nice to have the certificate, but I still can't get really excited until I find my first teaching post really, as I know that I have to get my probationary period (a year) done. Once that is out of the way, I know that I can teach anywhere, but there are hardly any jobs available in primary teaching at the mo, so am just keeping my fingers crossed that something comes up in October. I spoke to a retired teacher at my friend's wedding on Saturday, and he suggested taking a maths evening class or something similar, to show that I have extra skills and am prepared to improve myself, so will look into that at the local college.

Thanks to everyone who has congratulated me.

Hugs to everyone with poorly children, and annoying ones too. :grouphug:

Thanks for hugs etc. Sore throat and general aches still not gone but DH and I had a very disturbed night. Both of us up from 4am, woke up coughing, not sure who was first, it has meant we got a few jobs done this morning.. Anyway he has gone off to work and taken DS3 with him as I was getting to breaking point with boys arguing and slamming doors. All the pictures came of the wall in our room as a result of door slamming. Either that or we have had earth tremours!! :rotfl:
DS2 has the day off today so I have some jobs for him to do. DS1 has been away for a long weekend and is due back this evening so I am going to sit them all down tonight and tell them that if all this bickering continues what will happen to them. Last time I took away laptop, playstation etc. They are aged 17, 18 and 21. I looked at the charts that someone suggested but I decided that it probably won't work with mine. I really sympathise with all those with bickering children. I have to say that all four of mine were little angels and really got on well. Every one of our friends were jealous of us because we had it so easy, no toddler tantrums, no earlier teenage problems. They have saved it all up for now when they are so much bigger and a bit scary. Glad to say that it is not physical except the door slamming. Sorry just realised that is a large moan.

Yawnnnnnn morning all, my excuses: not going to bed until 1am then a very wriggly DS keeping me awake until 3am  so blaming it on the jetlag as well!

DS wanted to put some smilies on. He put Martin on and then said 'I don't like that master' - he'll learn - he's only 3. Normally he sits by me and wants to click on all the hands (ie the Thanks button).

    Catch you all later

    Jue

My DS & DD love these as well, DS likes to copy the faces! He says 'mummy do the blue face' so we sit there pulling funny faces at each other!
