    Morning all

DUSTY KITTEN - the elastic band (or hair band) round my wrist is so when I feel like loosing it I flick it 3 times - its meant to stop (or control) the anger. I havent had to test if properly as yet but if I have felt myself snap and the littles I have done one flick and it kind of breaks the annoyed/anger thought. Worth a try, think it is an anger management technique I read about somewhere.

Not proper in-depth flying today but so far I have:-

S & S Kitchen - needs doing again after lunch
    S & S Lounge
    S & S Bathroom
    Had shower & Washed hair
Trip to library (back this pm for craft session with littles)
    Made cheese and onion rolls
Made jam tarts (all been scoffed so need to make more)
    Aired and made beds
    Did half hour ironing
Booked weekend off for DH xmas do (must loose 3 stone before then too, maybe need to give the jam tarts a miss!lol)

Oh and for the op that asked about Peter Pan on the trampoline, basically it involves me pretending to be captain Hook and chase the littles around trying to catch them. Unfortunately I have rather sore boobs this morning from all that bouncing about - lol!

Thankfully (at the mo) they have a friend round to play for the day all three sat having a carpet picnic watching the "hated" wonder pets. Got my driving lesson tonight so something from the freezer for tea.

Right cuppa and lunch dishes next me thinks

Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs

    Level 1
    [STRIKE]Vacuum floors and sofas [/STRIKE]
    Level 2
[STRIKE]Dusting, even if around everything [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe [/STRIKE]
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
    Wipe light switches and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
    Tidy shoes, coats and bags
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Clear one hotspot, or just spend at least 5 minutes tackling it
    • Clear one shelf, dust and replace items after giving them a wipe over
    • Clean a window in these rooms, only need to do one but you can of course do more if you like
    • Using the idea Shirley suggested, get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be. I did this last week and had 4 bags, one for each of us, once they were filled they were all given their own misplaced things to deal with :D
At the moment I am attempting to tidy the PC desk - I know its not todays target, but it's in the living room and it is a MESS! Honestly, tried to find the camera to take a pic of it, but can't find it...

Anyway, do that today, do kids room when supposed to do PC desk and then I can go out on Friday and have fun! Meeting some friends in Glasgow and spending the full day there, alone, with no husband and no kids! Woohoo!

Can't think of a list right now, still a bit depressed about news yesterday, even though it was expected, I had been told to expect a much different story...

DS1 has earned his pocket money this week, he has been helping wash and dry dishes, hoover the floor, mop the floor, tidy up etc. Even giving my advice on how to remove a ribena stain 'use Cilit bang mum, bang and the stain is gone'.

    so list...

    PC desk - PAPERWORK!
tackle any letters I need to act on
    More washing
    Put clothes away from yesterday
    Cheer up a bit. LOL!

Off to buy 50 elastic bands :rotfl: sorry DP annoyed me again, he's a proper spendaholic!! £350 I think today. He DARED to mention the cost of the pans, grrr!!! At least I paid cash for them I'd saved up. We have a system however as I wanted the debts repaying and he wanted to keep a credit card, so he has 2 and the bills. He gives me a set amount each week, up to him with what's left to buy what he wants and pay the CC. TBH it bothers me a little that he spends so much but he pays it so I don't care, he tried moaning about it a few weeks ago, was told NOT MY PROBLEM!

Right anyway, new pans unpacked, the lids JUST fit on my lid rack which is on the inside of the door in the big cupboard and with a little messing about they all fit inside each other :D be a bit of a pain to get them out when I need them but saves space. The stock pot is huge I like it :D DS1 calmed a bit so we did a matching game with the plastic tub collection :o All sorted now and in a big basket I found. Have kept the 2 boxes the pans came in, one inside the other bit of a waste IMO but never mind, for the toy sorting :D

Next job, dining table AKA DP dumping ground!
One day I might be more organised...........

    Hiya
I've done my list today. Another of DDs nails started to come off in the night and most look as if they're starting to separate so i've sent her off with each one stuck down with micropore, bless her. At the moment they're not hurting her but i'm so scared she'll catch one of them. Ouch!

Our GP contacted us and is going to take clippings to test for infection. We've also got an appointment for Friday morning at 820am with a dermatologist. DH will be home by then so we'll all be able to go. I'm trying to think of girlie things to do with her instread of her nails so any ideas.

    Thanks for everyones support xx

Hair and other make up maybe LJD1, jewellery making if she's into that ? pleased she's managed to get an appointment with a specialist anyway. If they've got tape on what about wearing gloves over them ? Just incase she catches them. When DS1 pulled half his nail off on one hand he wore gloves for bed etc to stop that.

  • Productive day here for me, got up early did lots of stuff before I took one of the rats to the vets. Thankfully she didn't bite the vet, but did wriggle lots and lots while the vet was trying to listen to her chest. They then got a bit of a treat - inspired by a post on a different forum. (links for those of you who don't like rats)

Just done tins cupboard myself, now all arranged into boxes so they can't fall over :DThose 79p Ikea boxes are a godsend!!! I can stack tins higher without them falling :o all in order aswell of what type of things are in them so should be easier to find stuff. 4th load of washing in, I think there is about 2 more to go, DP & DS2 still out so just me and DS1 who is in one of his moods, was going to try to get him to help with the plastics sort but I don't think it'll be worth the hassle.

Lil-me: what are they like, the boxes from Ikea? I am looking for a better way to store tins.

Been into town today for the last of the school uniforms. Teenagers:mad: ! Don't like this and that is not "cool" enough..
Couldn't find any shoes they liked and we left before I lost my temper and my sanity....Pigpen How do you do it with all those uniforms.. without going around the bend..

Still have living room to do. And kitchen is full of washing up again and clean washing on the dining room table that need folding/ironing.

DH has dentist appt at 5.30pm so we need to eat before then, his mouth will be numb for a while afterwards;)

Better go check on my corned beef hash I am cooking. Laters
