Can I clarify??.. these rubber bands.. they are to fire at moving children like missiles aren't they??

    'you little' *twang*
    'stop that you big' *twang*

    Oh yes.. I'm almost tempted!!

Becca.. I'd have lynched them both.. sounds like they need to both be given a lovely task to make their sister feel better and redeem themselves once they are allowed out of their rooms.. what is left on your list? If they can't play together they work together :D

Yes... Great idea about the rubber bands!!

    AND the tasks..
They are now banging the walls to annoy eachother as they are not allowed out... and banging on the radiators... I'm calm... I'm calm.. I'm calm..
Goddess give me patience, or I WILL do some harm! That's why I'm not going up there now.. I will definately loose it big time if I do!

Pigpen Im a terrible shot thats why I wear it round my wrist - lol

Becca - poor you, its horrible when something like that happens, like slow motion but nothing you can do about it! I know when DD2 was about a year old she was playing in the sand -pit. I literally turned the other way to drag the activity centre to put her in so she would be safe while I too DD1 to the loo and she moved from one end of the sandpit and toppled over the end trying to climb over it and hit her full face on the concrete. I could not believe how fast she moved. I felt absolutely terrible about it, and the looks you get from other people when little ones have bruises or cuts on their face. I echo pigpens thoughts give them the jobs to do so you can "look after" the little one.

Been to library, another load of colouring pages and paper lions to display.
Snack and juice made and scoffed by the little darlings
    Friend been collected

    Now need to rehoover lounge
    Sort tea
    Put lunch dishes away
    Dig out driving lesson folder
Curl up somewhere quiet and have 40 winks - oh no thats wishful thinking!

So what is this elastic band thingy all about anyway?

    And will bobbles do?

Ok, Bobble round my wrist doubled up to keep it on, and all thats happening is my hand has gone numb...

    I... uhm...

put some washing out - like, 3 pairs trousers and 5 sheets
tidies the PC desk, all that paperwork is now in 2 boxes, to be sorted and to be binned/shredded - RESULT syas I!

The living room is a TIP. And I can't help but wonder if its worth tidying it until [STRIKE]monster-brats-demons-in-disguise-damiens-hooligans-thugs-toerags[/STRIKE] Darling Children have went to bed. No they are not getting a bath tonight as I will drown them.

I have swapped depressed feeling for stressed feeling, so bought ice cream and magazine with free mascara. Ice cream has sent my blood sugar levels wonkey so I have the shakes and need to make food. Lets hope the magazine relaxes me later on in that holy time When-Kids-Are-In-Bed.

JillD I hope your Dad starts to improve soon, steroids are horrid, is he having nightmares with them? Sounds like should be rattling about now! Poor man, must be hard especially as he has been so active and has treid to improve his health.

LD1 Hair braiding sounds like fun! But if you have covered her nails with plaster or gauze, can you use the white stuff and then you can decorate the tape? Might cheer her up a bit.

Shell2001: yes you are SO right!
It's amazing how fast those little ones move. For others I can fully understand how it happens! You turn around to pick up something that will keep them safe, and in that second they fall!..

And I do feel terrible!! I should have shut that door (it has a device on it that shuts it automatically, be it a little slow) I should have checked that it was shut, I should not have let her wear those wooden shoes, I should have gotten the hint when the puppy came pounding past me up the stairs (my brain did register him, but not that little one would be following) I should have been quicker down the stairs to catch her...

    gosh... my poor baby!!
She's watching Winnie the Pooh now.. and I"m just about off to cook the tea.. while I'd much rather sit on the couch and hold her some more. But she told me a while ago already: "MUHUM!! Leave me lone!!"
    :D

I'm thinking up tasks for the older two girls to do, don't worry!

    BOINKS

    Boisterous
    Over-active
    Impatient
    Noisy
    Kids!

I got till 10am this morning before I begged Husband to let me kill them. But Today would be a bad day apparently. Something to do with taking their date of birth, multiplying it by 12, dividing it by 3 adding their shoe size, dividing by eye colour and then subtracting the number of teeth they have...

Tomorrow is much better but only if it is a Saturday....

Productive day here for me, got up early did lots of stuff before I took one of the rats to the vets. Thankfully she didn't bite the vet, but did wriggle lots and lots while the vet was trying to listen to her chest. They then got a bit of a treat - inspired by a post on a different forum. (links for those of you who don't like rats)

Shirley I am assuming those ice cream holders were not designed for that purpose BUT you market those on ebay and you'd make a fortune ;)

I am just back from the post office, posted 19 ebay parcels which my nieces help to pack.

Now got to restock the shop and get some more hol stuff tidied away.
